I'm 15, I started riding scooters when I was 13, I'm not your typical reckless teenager on a scoot lol! I do my own work on them and even put a big bore kit on my velocity 50! (:

I have just installed a performance exhaust and a cone filter on my taotao and before I ride it i was wondering what the best main jet would be for this set up? My bike is all stock except for a performance variator and rollers and the pipe and filter. Thanks in advance, Kyle

My velocity got 51 mph gps and it has an ebay 83cc kit but now that it has started burning oil it gets 46 mph. I don't really like going wot because it has such high miles.

Harley's are a dying art, I'm 15 and I ride a cheap chinese scooter because it is all i can afford. If I was givin a brand new Harley I would still ride my velocity because Harley's are just too loud and annoying. I would like a honda metropolitan though (: I think a real bike is whatever gets you where you need to go!

I ran with only one base gasket with my bbk for a while and then I put another on bc the electric start did not work but it wore down my piston alot, so I would reccomend two base gaskets with a bbk and one stock.

My velocity 50cc has about 15,500 kilometers and I have used an ebay 50mm kit since 8,000 kilometers and now the kit is failing me. I would also like to replace the crank when I put in a new kit. I was wondering which would be the best quality and best lasting of both. I would like to install a performance crank such as a naraku racing crank because it has needle bearings this less wear and better reliability and I was wondering wear to get this also wear to get a high quality 50mm bbk and cylinder head. Thanks in advance , Kyle

I use 8g rollers with a Kosovo variator seems to work very well it tops out at about 50 and good acceleration I have an ebay 83cc kit that I've used for 5,400 kilometers.

I worked on my friends secret 63 and what I did was move the clip on the needle in the carb down as far as it would go and that fixed it.

Also I have been told to only set valves when cold as when they are hot the metal expands giving an innacurate reading

I use 15w 40 because I ride fairly short distances and I am concerned about engine wear so the thicker oil would be less friction. The cooling issue would not hurt me as I don't really ride far. I just tried 10w40 and my engine felt kinda shakey compared to what I use now, but it was much faster and I noticed an increase in fuel economy so idk lol it is a tough choice. In my honda cub from 1965 I use 15w40 because it does have a wet clutch and it helps with wear.
