I finally decided to strip down my entire engine and look for issues.... I removed the intake manifold, and found that the spacer was cracked and had split.... in many places Unfortunately as i removed it, some peices fell into the intake valve, and I was forced to strip back to the piston to remove them. COULD THIS CAUSE A POOR VACUUM, THEREFOR LEAN GAS SUPPLY, AND LEANING OUT / STALLING AT WOT?? I replaced the spark plug with an iridium... I replaced the airbox with a freeflow rejetted the carb at and adjusted the valves to .004/ .005 QUESTION: When installing the cam....the "T" on fan lines up with the casting pin TWICE... once when the hole in the cam faces the front wheel, and also when the hole in the cam faces the rear wheel.... I feel a bit slow for asking this, but is that normal... how are you supposed to set the timing if it lines up every 180 degrees?? I set the cam hole facing forward when the piston was CLOSEST to the valves.... IS THAT RIGHT???

I worked on my friends secret 63 and what I did was move the clip on the needle in the carb down as far as it would go and that fixed it.

As long as the two smaller holes line up perfectly parallel to the top of the cylinder head anytime "T" is lined up on the case, you've set timing correctly. It doesn't matter if the crank is on the top of the compression or exhaust stroke... same thing ;D I would agree that a cracked intake spacer could be the culprit. I would try the stock intake box again just to make sure you aren't throwing crazy amounts of air in there and stalling it out. is a tad high for a secret 63 but I did run that on mine with a modified intake box and exhaust.

I actually just installed the free flow, because no matter what valve adjustment/ af screw/jetting I did it would bog...
I hope the spacer is the culprit....
What size jet should I use for a secret 60?? 80? 78?

When I had 63ccs with a free flow filter I used an jet, you could probably get away with a smaller one such as 82 or 80.
