I neighbor was riding past my house and stopped and told me they had a junk scooter that I could have for free. Of course I would jumped all over it and walked the 5 blocks to their house and pushed it back. She told me she had a key and title but lost them. She is in the middle of moving and told me she would bring them to me if she found them. It's pretty beat up as far as the body but it still has a lot of stuff I can use beside that. I was wondering if their was anything special about a 1p39qmb motor. Is it any different then a 139qmp? Attachments:

Heya, P! brother!
There's a slight chance that the 1p39qmb motor has a 63cc, but not likely unless it's a peace sports from around 2009.
Here's how to tell:
Good luck!

Thanks for the information guys. I will definitely check it out to see if its a 63. if it isn't I'm still happy to get a anything I can use as a parts scooter. saving a few bucks is always a plus.

1p39qmb/ 139qmb is basically the same thing. It is also known as 49/50cc gy6. you should be able to get oem and performance parts for it

I did some research on this a few month back as mine came stock with a 1p39qmb and was curious myself. what I was lead to believe was the "p" ment it had the longer valve/higher head, something like a 69mm valve length, which seems to be more and more common for engines made with in the past 2-3 years. don't know if its better than a 139qmb, but if these cheap Chinese companies are willing to spend the money to convert their factories to produce them, they've done some kinda testing to make sure its legit...

[replyingto=bamf]B.%20A.%20M.%20F.[/replyingto]My 1p39qmb was definitely a secret 60, but it had 64mm valves.

lykos, was that the stock factory engine that came with the original scoot? or was this an after market engine? looking into this more it seems like the "p" is just a mark that the engine that has been modified ?however?. mine had the tall head. The 39 in 139qmb should mean its 39mm bore, 50cc. maybe they threw a 44mm BBK from the factory, threw a P on the engine code for legal reasons...

[replyingto=bamf]B.%20A.%20M.%20F.[/replyingto]That is the stock cylinder that came with my original engine. I had a 6B stamped on my case.
2009 Peace Sports was a 63cc stock with the typical short valves.
