Very nice.. Bashan puts together a fairly consistent product. I had my NSD on the 7th of this month. Good stuff right there to be sure.

Great and informative post right here! Just what I had been looking for. I just took delivery of a Bashan (Peace Powersports) 1p39qmb (63cc) that I swapped the stock airbox out for a free flow, replaced the non serviceable carb with an aftermarket unit and popped in a # main jet, but left the idle jet stock. I have been experiencing stalling at takeoffs and had been fiddling with a/f alot. Next step seems to be to replace the idle jet.. #38 ... Awesome post! Thanks Sent from my SGH-M919 using proboards

Took the front headlight cowl off and checked connections. I found a stray 4 wire connector laying near the headlight harness. I checked the wiring zipped inside the steering plastics expecting to find an open connector-nada. Not sure what to make of that. I covered the open connection with a bit of electrical tape until I can figure out where this thing goes, or if its there to facilitate an alternate light cowl.? I checked things out and nothing else seemed loose or cut in the wiring. I messed a tad more with my carb to redial the a/f and took her out for a ride. Still dies off the line under load. Once the bike is going, it accelerates great and will cruise @ 30mph. Could the stalling be jetting.. that would be my next guess..? I have a in now.. I upjetted when I changed out the airbox for a free flow filter. Gotta run now.. ideas? Sent from my SGH-M919 using proboards

My computer is down and using any kind of search feature on my smart phone is a pain. I will search around on YouTube. I think I know where to start looking to find the problem.

So heres the thing.. I took delivery of a new crated (Bashan built) Peace powersports Dash 50cc scoot back on the 7th. Assembly and PDI went without a hitch. I upgraded some ignition parts, replaced and re-jetted ( ) the new carb, got rid of the stock airbox for a free flow unit. I also popped a few vents in the stock exhaust at the muffler, just to let the engine breathe more efficiently. Kinda premature for these types of upgrades, but I know that proper break in is somewhat critical. Im goin easy. That being said, once I had the carb a/f dialed and the machine running great, I began noticing one of 2 of my headlights being very dim at start up and then as the bike ran and warmed up, the light would come back. At first I thought.. 'cheap Chinese bulbs', but now Im realizing there is probably more to this then just wack China bulbs. I have heard enough splendid tales of messed up electrical systems on these China bikes to expect it. So.. thinking at the time that this is an easy fix- bad bulb and that was that, I rode the bike round town normally and started noticing the bike wanting to die out at take off. I dont want to have mash the excellerator to get the bike rolling, but the bike would puke out and die if I feathered my excelleration. It seemed to me to be an a/f issue and decided to mess with the carb a bit more.. maybe vacuum.. everything checked out. I did plug chops and my mix looks right. Back out there again and the problem persists. Now not only does the headlight come on dim from start up til warmed, but now my engine kills at take off and it seems now that my charging system is not doin its duty. Dead battery. This kinda splains the dim headlights. I have had the battery on a 2a trickle charge/tender overnight and am wondering if you scoot pros can lead me to the well. What are some things I can look for to determine the source problem. thanks ! Sent from my SGH-M919 using proboards

My scoot is an odd bird for sure.. the engine spec plate reads engine displacement of 150cc!? Obviously a screw up at the factory.? Whatever. All I know is that this friggin thing GLH!!
