Thanks for the encouragement folks! Unfortunately my cell is my only means of inet atm.. ..so for now I can tell you its a Bashan (Peace Powersports) GS804 50cc... I believe mine came with a 63cc engine.. more on that in a different thread. This is my second time buying from Greenearth scooters and the transaction was flawless.. shout out for GES! Anyway, the scoot arrived via Old Dominion Freight, on time, in tact,... liftgated and wheeled by the driver through a small parking lot, down an alley and upa small slope to my parking space. Great driver once again. Hung out and waited for me to bust some nylon strapping and slice some cardboard to inspect for damage. Everything was in good enough condition... No impaled side panels or smashed anything..Just your normal chinabike scratch n scuff here n there... I have come to expect this. Assembly was a breeze. Made sure to use blue thread locker when assembling/ snugging critical bits of the vehicle. PDI went as expected . I took the liberty while the bike was in final assembly stages, to remove the seat bucket and swap out the stock carb with a more serviceable unit. I also rejetted to and removed the stock airbox in favor of a free flow unit. While I was at it, I swapped out the stock CDI and coil and installed their hp counterparts. I also threw in an NGK Iridium plug. I know doing these types of mods out of the crate is perhaps a bit prematre, but trust me that I know the importance of proper break in. I am taking it easy.. full warm up heat cycling engine, no prolonged WOT and oil/gear oil changes. As of right now, she cruises at around 30.. Havent had it to the top yet, but I wouldnt doubt 35-40 un restricted on the flats. I can tell that this motor is just more powerful than my first chinabike with the same mods. Makes me further question the "1P" engine designation. Im betting that this bike has a 63cc engine.. this thing GLH! So far as I can tell; tuning the variator/sliders and clutch springs along with a Gates powerlink belt (already have) ...down line after a few oil changes and this bike will be ready.. dont think BBK is necessary here. Anyway... I am very happy with this scoot. The longer wheelbase and ample power, are welcomed from my last scoot for sure. The Bashan built scoots have proven their worth to me. Time will tell how long the love affair will continue.. I am looking to wring all the life I can out of this bike... I love these cheap to own and blast to ride Chinese scoots!! I will try to get some pics up asap. sent from planet earth...for now... spirit wars Inside..

Ha.. good stuff here. Just took delivery of 2013 Bashan GS804 50cc. The wealth of knowledgeable like minded scootocologists here is inspiring. Just finished pdi.. changing oil again at around 100km. Looking forward to many more miles. Shout out to greenearth scooters!!

I hear ya on the pics for proof... gonna try to document this process today.
Just a little 50cc round town fun machine, but even still man toys rock! Thanks for the well.wishes.. I love this kinda stuff.. So awesome to see that the new incarnation of scootdawg retains that 'root for the underdog' flave! This will be my second chinabike in as many years. I bought my first cb last summer and sadly had to sell it due to inadequate storage. Have winter storage space on lock, so time for a scoot! 'puttin the breeze on the knees' once again. Pics to follow.

It is religious freedom. Explain why no one raises a stink when some schools allow prayer time for their muslim students, but punish children for wearing anything or breathing a word regarding Christianity in school!?!? On the grand scheme of things, political correctness will KILL us. Sent from my LG-P769 using proboards
