My velocity scooter is reaching very high miles 12,6xx and was not maintained early in its life so evrything is worn out, it burns oil crank is not knocking yet but I am going to wait until it does and either change the crank and piston or drop in a new two stroke motor and I was wondering if that is possible?

I would say no with the oil injector and all that and im sure the wiring and stuff is different in the lights and everything else, but i could be wrong, probably be best to get a 4 stroke engine from scrappys

No, 50cc 4t are bottom mount and most 2t are mounted from the top but the mount for the two motor are totally different but with a welder and a cutting torch you can ;D

I'm thinking that instead of buying a new motor to just put a naraku crank, new bbk and variator clutch springs etc. because then I would get to work on it more and I would get a higher quality bike in the end.

150 are top mount but all 139qmb are bottom mounted and almost all chinese 2t are top mounted Some of the fancier italian and better made scoots have a bottom mount 2t

I just assumed we or he had a 50cc scooter, that is why i didnt reference any top mounted 150 I have about 4 2t motors all top mounted and 3 139qmb(1 whole) all bottom mounted picture is 139qmb motor has you can see the motor mount on the bottom  And this is the common 2t motor found in most chinese 2t except this is 90cc and it mounts on top  |

i have a 2 stroke 50 bottom mount with some gremlins i can track down and was also thinking of tryin to put a 4t 50 in it..maybe when i get back from the keys ill go out and measure it...good luck  |
