Avoid www.chinesepartswholesale.com! DO NOT become a dealer with them. They will send you a partial order and when the remaining items are back in stock...you will NEVER get them. They will claim....order #(whatever it is) has been filled and shipped. Also they will take your payment...a week or more will pass and it still shows up in your shopping cart not even having been acknowledged. Resolution by email or phone cannot be done as the do not answer email or the phone. So currently I am out the rest of a partial order and they have the money for my second order..yet no confirmation of receiving it....tracking # or even that order is pending...NOTHING! Again there is no reply to phone calls or emails asking why there is a hold up and why the partial order was never filled.....because they WILL NOT answer any emails or phone calls. But they gladly take your money. Buyer beware!!

did you pay with credit card? call your credit card company. i believe if it has been less than 60 days they can do a chargeback. i'm not certain of the specific laws so even if it has been longer still call them. they can help most-likely.

It was a pay pal direct transaction. Called them..had to put in a dispute and after 30 days from putting in the dispute they can charg eback..so they said. But they give retailers 30 days to correct the issue.

[replyingto=ramblinman]ramblinman[/replyingto]Ok..just got the scoop on them from 2 other sites and a few blogs I found on them. They are a very small home business and why they don't answer emails or the phone. They have no staff to do so..only 2 people. They stock few to none as far as parts. Standard CDI's..bulbs..belts and a few of the most commonly replaced scoot parts only. When you order from them they order the parts you need using your money. Hence a greater than 2 week delivery. Kind of like a drop ship business I am guessing. They get your money..then use it to order direct from China...because they have no money or inventory. I believe in and support ALL small businesses and utilize them before I go with huge corporations. But something like this is ridiculous. I myself have an account in China and can order direct..but the reason I chose this place was because..as we all know...direct from China takes many weeks. I figured this would be faster..but it is not..because they are ordering direct from China...then ship it to you...which makes shipping time even longer. Anyway..just a heads up.. ;D

They usually charge a commission too. Sometimes when the products aren't there, they will order similar products that may be inferior in quality, in order to maximize their profits.. Just be careful!

Sounds like there not organized yet either.
I hear ya about trying small businesses first. But unfortunately allot of the mom and pop shops really hurt themselves by not being better organized, or having a good business plan.

I used to buy from them when they shipped out of CA, now almost everything is shipped out of China and usually missing parts, so I quit ordering from them.
BTW, It is just an affiliate site from Syntric, there are alot of them out there and almost all of them just dropship out of China.

My impression is that Scrappy doesn't operate that way. Am I correct? No..scrappy is the real deal...brick and mortar shop with huge warehouse and great staff. Rick runs an honest business and customer service is great. Shelly..who answers the phone..will even go pull a part...weigh it..measure..describe it...anything you ask. Now THAT is customer service. Parts for scooters..same way. I always get the same with ALL the folks you see in the banners above. You want quality...a good price...and great customer service...click the banners above.

The way that PayPal operates is that if the seller does not contact them or you with proof of shipment within the 30 day wait period they will refund you the money and then PayPal themselves will pursue the fraudulent seller to get their money back.

BTW, It is just an affiliate site from Syntric, there are alot of them out there and almost all of them just dropship out of China. What is Syntric? I can't Google them... I am not exactly sure of the exact structure of the Syntric affiliates, but it is obvious they all are accessing the same databases as their part numbers and inventories are the same. With the exception of many affiliate site owners have the option of which parts to display and probably self shipping & shipping options. I had a list of a bunch of the sites, but that was a year ago. I'm guessing they take in orders from multiple sites and ship a big box of prepackaged orders(for smaller orders) to the US. Then someone here on the US side opens the big box and drops all the little boxes off with the post office or UPS, fedex whatever. I think what they do is find people here in the US to sell a site to and get to administrate it and deal with the end customers, then they fill the parts orders. Basically sell someone a job I maybe missing some details, but from what I investigated last year, that is the jist of it. Many of them also take credit cards without using ssl which is a big no no with Visa/MC.

Syntric irritates me. They've pirated a whole bunch of our images over the years for parts that they sell that are similar to ours. Abscooter's description of how Syntric works is pretty close, and certainly accurate enough for the conversation here.
