Syntric irritates me. They've pirated a whole bunch of our images over the years for parts that they sell that are similar to ours. Abscooter's description of how Syntric works is pretty close, and certainly accurate enough for the conversation here. Matt Matt I will say they have a few images of parts that are identical to your site sir. Abscooters..that is why I used pay pal...had my credit card out..looked around for the SSL notification...not there.

My impression is that Scrappy doesn't operate that way. Am I correct? No..scrappy is the real deal...brick and mortar shop with huge warehouse and great staff. Rick runs an honest business and customer service is great. Shelly..who answers the phone..will even go pull a part...weigh it..measure..describe it...anything you ask. Now THAT is customer service. Parts for scooters..same way. I always get the same with ALL the folks you see in the banners above. You want quality...a good price...and great customer service...click the banners above. Ya, turnaround at Scrappy's is so fast they ship you your stuff before you even order it. (almost) ;D

Yep, we don't watermark our images, mostly because I think it looks like crap, but it does allow companies like Syntric to pirate our information. They have also stolen our descriptions, and even part numbers, simply because they don't have a means to create that information themselves. Often times their parts are not identical to the parts we sell, so what you ordered, you don't always get from them.
It's all good though, hence it only irritates me instead of making me angry. , even one of the big players in US scooter parts distribution has been known to lift an image from us here and there. I'm proud to say though that unless it is a stock image provided by the vendor of the part, all of our images are done in house in our little studio. That's how we keep our images accurate, as when buying parts from overseas, sometimes little things change, and we want to be a transparent about things like that as possible.
Besides, isn't piracy the most sincere form of flattery? Lol.
I guess it is just one of those things to keep in mind as well when you see that we don't have the absolute cheapest version of a part. It costs money to be accurate.

Matt Matt..this true.. @ spandi...funny you say that...I always tell Shelly at scrappys...as soon as I click the send button on an order...the Postal lady is knocking on my door with the parts. Pretty much the same with Parts For Scooters. Place an order...plan on a 5-6 slow period in repairs...and it seems that as soon as I get comfy on the sofa with the remote to watch my Hunting and Fishing shows...the damn parts arrive and I gotta get up off my butt..go outside and do the repairs..

Abscooters - Haha, it's all good! In your situation you can consider it a vendor supplied stock photo.

At least they aren't hot-linked. I remember when someone on ebay hot-linked some of Turber's photos and he switched them to soft porn images, LOL.

[replyingto=fugaziiv]fugaziiv[/replyingto]I will say..ALL the vendors here in the banners above have accurate pics...with them and a few others...I am CONSTANTLY calling them.. "Hey your description says a left brake handle for the GY6 50 type scoots..but the pic shows a RIGHT side Master Cylinder with Brake lever..umm..so like...which is it? Also your GY6 50 BBK says 47mm..but when I click on 'details' it says it is 44m..again which is it? Also your part GY6 50 sliders states they are 18X14 and 11 grams...no GY6 50 uses them...they use 16X13..so..well which are they?" As a parts/repair shop...time is money...I can't be on the phone all the time correcting their errors...and then to be told all 47mm BBK's are 44mm and the GY6 50 uses 18X14 rollers or sliders...?..." Let's see..Shopping Cart...select all....click delete..go to "It is the ride site"..click a banner and get answers from a vendor with an IQ at least as high as a brick..vice someone that wears Velcro Laced Tennis shoes cause at 45 yo they probably still can't tie their own laces...LMAO!...

I am trying to figure that out myself. I'm pretty sure it is some kind of backhanded compliment... I think. Lol.

Many of them also take credit cards without using ssl which is a big no no with Visa/MC. yep, that is the first thing i look for when sending personal info. i wasn't too happy about it but i am so desperate for the part. hope all goes well, this is my first time dealing with them.

Well we do a lot of business with Partsforscooters and they are the real deal also. I met Matt at the dealer show last year and this company if really great on customer relations. Matt is always there if you need him to take care of a problem which there is none.
