Hi You would need to fabricate and weld new mounts, its not a drop in and bolt up If you have the mechanical aptitude and good welding skills its fairly easy Take care and ride safely Yours Hank Ok, thanks. It shouldn't be that much trouble as I have somebody that could do the welding for me.

Hello, I am in a fortunate position right now to get a Kymco agility 50 2009 for ~$700 and would like to take advantage of the situation. I would like to drop in a 150cc GY6 engine into it. From what I have read the agility 50 frame is almost identical to the agility 150 frame. Would this be an issue to just take out 50 engine and put in the 150 engine or would I have to bore my own holes and make additions to secure the 150 engine?
Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

i love my koso too i run it with dr pulley sliders Thanks for the replies, nice to know it lowers RPM's, mine are a little high. I happened to notice that in your picture you also seem to have a B09-R. Its good to know somebody else on the forum has one because its not a very common model.

I'm sure there are some quality look-alike brands out there that are probably a little cheaper, but from my experience the dr. pulleys are totally worth the money. Their shape is patented goodness. Their coated with a sleak and slippery non-stick shell. They're spot on in their weight. And you know that you're going with the best you can probably get. You can try getting yourself a variator weight tuning kit to save you the trouble of buying multiple packs of dr. pulley weights. www.scooterworks.com/prima-roller-weight-tuning-kit--3g-to-14g--16x13-products-1935.php#.UaaURU1jjcc This way you can find your sweetspot and just buy that weight of sliders. Best of luck to ya! Edit: Keeping in mind that the difference between sliders and rollers is roughly one gram. So 6g rollers would equal 7g sliders, etc. Thanks for the help! I will probably go with the Dr.Pulley sliders as I know what weight I should be getting already.

Man that's great I have been looking around and I am hearing nothing but good things about the Dr.Pulley sliders. The only thing is the price is a little steep. Do you suggest only going with that brand?

Hello All, I have the typical Chinese scooter (TPGS-810 AKA "B09-R") that has a 139QMB with a 85cc BBK. I am pretty happy with its performance so far although I have some extra cash I would like to put into it and see how fast I can get it. I am really looking for some advice as to the controversy between sliders that some people swear by and just regular rollers. And also possibly a Performance variator I have seen posted on this site from ebay ( www.ebay.com/itm/50cc-HIGH-PERFORMANCE-VARIATOR-COMPLETE-SET-FOR-SCOOTERS-WITH-GY6-QMB139-MOTORS/171041229213?). I have seen some people say that the performance variator got them 7mph and some say that its just not possible. Any help would be appreciated with this decision. Also some background, on flat ground I can do around ~43mph and it has pretty good acceleration off the line so I may lower the weights. Thanks, Ronan

Sorry about that. This is a link to a forum in which it is explained. It has a couple helpful and straight forward pictures.scooterdoc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=techtips&action=display&thread=2630

I don't have a lot of time to describe how to do it or to find a video for you but I know you can lookup a diagram for the assembly on google images.

I was going to put my new rear tire on myself but I could not for the life of me break the bead. I looked around and it appears that most car garages will not touch a scooter/motorcycle tire because 1) the rims are pretty small(too small for their tire machines) and 2) the side walls are very very thick and with out the proper tools they said they could ruin the tire. I had to end up going to a motorcycle garage and they were able to get it installed for $25 and an extra $3 for the valve stem that should be replaced every time a new tire is installed or as soon as you get your new scooter. It would be really dangerous if a valve stem were to blow out while riding.

I don't have a whole lot of experience with CVT's but do you think that you could have the wrong sizes belt? It seems to be flopping around a little bit too much.

The way that PayPal operates is that if the seller does not contact them or you with proof of shipment within the 30 day wait period they will refund you the money and then PayPal themselves will pursue the fraudulent seller to get their money back.

RapidJim Had mentioned that he had used one(a roach clip) to remove the screw. I cant seem to find a good image of one to understand how it grasps the screw as it is pretty tight against the walls with the threads. Do you happen to have a picture?

[replyingto=captonzap]captonzap[/replyingto]The whole you see in the picture is from my drill bit when I was drilling out the plug. The plug was very close to the head of the screw. As far as how the factory got it in, I am not really sure. Possibly some way to get it in from the inside when the carb is open?
