I have been painting autos, RVs and boats for over 38 years i wouldnt recommend rustleum paint , Krylon is much better for paint larger areas because it has a much better spray nossel with a fan spray , and also has retarder in it to slow down the dry time so the paint flows and gives you a better shine . You can also buff the paint to remove and dirt or dull spots . Rusteleum is a good paint for doint around the house items . You really dont need to use a primer before painting on plastic unless you are useing a transparent paint that doesnt cover well. If you are going to primer use primer paint not flat paint . This is my opinion .

Rode bikes since the early 70s , bought a 150 cc tike in 2009 much to slow so i now have a JCL 250 since 2010 and probably will get a 400 cc or larger when get the urge to change .

That seems a little high , tax should only be $14.00 and tags for my scoot was $42.00 i think , i guess your paying for a new tag and transfer fees and any other fees they can charge . happy scootin

I took a piece of cardboard and made a diagram of the of the outline of the plastic and then placed each screw in it so i know where they belong when i put it back together cause they are different sizes .

i'm a fair weather rider i only ride if the weather forcast looks good ,but i have been caught in few storms and i sure dont enjoy it .

Dont used polishing compound before painting ,just sand it down and then paint it .

I ride alone and i have tried to start a group in my town ,but only two seemed interested and never heard from them again . People are strange i think .

I have the same scoot ,with the JCL name and fuel tank is 3.4 gal i know when my reads close to 1/4 it will take around 2 gal to fill it up and i put rod in the tank and im sure there was atleast 1 gal in there ,so i dont believe the guage is accurate .

Here in sunny Florida the temp at 1:30 PM is degress patyly cloudy and kinda humid , going for ride little later . Come on down we can have a group ride .
