if you didn't know it was real a different camera angle would make you think its a matchbox car... God it is ugly, but personally GM lost me when they did away with Oldsmobile and Pontiac, The only two things GM had that I liked..

Stock scoot batteries are really only good for one year, anything after that your living on borrowed time.

Ive been using a 330 amp battery, I believe it's for a riding lawn mower, it's worked great, don't fit in the scoots battery compartment, so I rerouted my battery cables and it's locked up under my seat...

All I will say is this, my front forks are needing replaced, noticed the left one leaking oil, and a hair bit of play in both.. I believe this to be as a result of the stresses I put that front end thru.. I have 6855 miles on this frame and forks.. Far premature for forks to be worn out.. So before you attempt a project like this.. Give to thought to your safety, and that of others on the road with you, a failure of this nature would be catastrophic...

I think if your wanting to try that, as least a 150 cc frame would be a better choice.. The 50cc front end is pretty light, and not designed for sustained heavy loads... Fawkes as a stroker could do 60 MPH confirmed.. It put more stresses on the front end applying braking, and put more punishment on the front end rolling over pot holes.. I had to put a larger front tire on my front, and adjust my braking ( always applying both ) to relieve some of the stress..
without some serious reinforcing from purely a safety standpoint, I would not do it on a 50cc frame, something a little heaver Maybe..

Once you try a HP Cam, there's really no going back... That extra midrange and top end the cam adds, does wonders for hill climbing, and keeping up with traffic.. It even provides more low end torque that is good for your launches... NCY calls it a HP cam, Scrappy calls it a A9, both are the same, what it adds is definitely something you can feel in the scooter, but i do think to get the most of the cam you need to consider the head, carb, exhaust, and variator weights..

Here's a cute true story, My parent were driving to town, it was at night, and they had to drive 8 miles... Along the way my mom saw a deer approaching from the right side of the truck, she said to my dad, "Deer" He said "What ?", she again said in an excited voice "Deer !" again my father asked "What !".. At that point it was too late.. And they hit the deer.
From that point on, anytime anybody sees a "Deer" yells brick... Nothing good about a brick when driving... LOL

I guess riding at nite being more relaxing depends on where you live, last night coming home from work, I saw a deer running along side the road, kept watching the deer until it went down a ditch and darted off the other direction.. But riding along waiting to see what the deer would do was a little nerve racking...
I guess i got lucky even seeing it that time of nite...

Hi redroush00 I tend to think you have reached a near balance between the torque your engine can produce and the resistances you are encountering. Resistance Ie, your weight, bikes weight, wind resistance, and road your driving over. Once you reach that balance no amount of increasing the throttle will give you any more, as your engine is doing all it can with the given components you have in it..
