I'll check that out. Check at Wal-Mart or Lowes... They typically both sell it. I will probably try to strengthen (fix) the plastic there also

One that caught my attention is the Hyosung (Korean) GV250. It's a Cruiser-styled fuel-injected 250cc V-twin. MSRP of $3999. Specs state ~80mpg while reviews I've read says it has a top speed over 90mph. No personal experience, but it has my interest, and I even have a local dealer in my area. Also available, 250cc V-twin racing body: ...and in an open-body style...

Your project looks better than mine... I'm moving this weekend and we are moving some of the heavy furniture so we can finally start staying in the new house. Worst part is the refrigerator. To get it out of the kitchen, we have to remove all doors and trim. It is still a press fit to get it through the doorway, and to get that, we have to remove the moulding around the door and it's a press fit even then... Moving the bed, furniture, clothes, entertainment center, and kitchen stuff... Take the door off the refrigerator. It's alot easier than removing wood trim, Just unbolt it. ;D I have to take the door and ALL trim off the refrigerator AND take all the trim off the kitchen door... it's a combination of a big fridge and a skinny door...

I've found a couple of MC54-style scoots on CL that are local to my area... easttexas.craigslist.org/mcy/3888877922.htmleasttexas.craigslist.org/mcy/3895755246.htmlBoth look like they have the CFMoto/Honda 244cc motor. The $1500 JCL seems a bit high for a second-hand scoot. I've contacted the seller of the Roketa requesting additional info (age/mileage/maintenance) but haven't heard back yet. Thoughts? I'm looking locally since Superior keeps pushing my order back (ordered 5/15, now on backorder until 7/15). Would I be better off waiting on my new scooter or should I buy used? Depending on mileage and the maintenance, what's best? I don't know if there was ever a PDI performced on either of these; they could have been left parked with old fuel in the carb, maybe the rollers or belt is worn... Of course, that's all assuming the owner can provide a clean title...

There are a lot of new games that are good for the Wii too right? I might look into that. I had a Sega and Sega CD but I think I recently sold it. I'll have to look in the attic and see if I still have it. Not so much for the Wii since it never got a lot of love from the big developers. First-Party Nintendo titles are great of course, but it mostly ends up being a Wii Sports/Wii Sports Resort title to play tennis and bowling on. Mario Kart is good, and the Zelda titles are good if you like the newer Zelda gameplay. I didn't play them but watched my wife play through both Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, and Twilight Princess was the more enjoyable game. Since the Wii isn't a High-Def device, a lot of the newer games didn't transfer over as well or were dumbed-down vs. the PS3/360 versions. Instead of buying a Wii, I would suggest you look into an Xbox 360 since those are fairly cheap for the base-model system. There may be another price drop in the near future as the 360 is near the end-of-life with the XBox One is nearing launch. Used games can be had very cheaply via Half.com. A lot of great games can be purchased for $20 new and there is a huge library of great games since the system is so old. It has aged very well. Arkham Asylum has been one of the best 360 games I have ever played... You know it's good when you are playing and suddenly realize that your aren't playing the game anymore. IT IS PLAYING YOU! (not exaggerating either; that happens about 2/3 of the way through the game, it's a great moment!) If you don't PC game, you can get the Orange Box and Portal 2 for the 360 as well. These Valve games offer a huge amount of fantastic gaming. The Orange Box has Half Life, Half Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, and the first Portal game. Portal 2 expands greatly on the first Portal with an incredible first-person-puzzle gameplay, fantastic writing, and a great story with excellent humor throughout.

In my case, I'll be comparing cost/mile as versus driving my Titan pickup truck. In that case, I'm reducing mileage on the Titan and transferring it over directly to the scooter, so I'm assuming the cost of upkeep will balance pretty well. I'll have to change the oil more often; that's just over a quart for every 1000 miles vs 5 quarts plus a filter for every 6000 miles, plus I use synthetic in the Titan so that's double the price. Tires wear more quickly, but a full set of cheap tires for my truck is $750 while a pair of Kendas for the scooter is about $80. Pirelli's are about $25 more for the pair. The scoot should get 4x the fuel economy of the Titan. By my calculations, the fuel cost on my Titan is about .20/mile and the scooter should cost closer to .05/mile.
Now, if they would just ship my scooter so I can turn out some real-world numbers...

I'm not a true collector by any means, but I like me some semi-classic gaming. I have a NES with a small selection of games including the original Contra and Zelda (of course). The SNES is where the fun really is... I have my old SNES and a shoebox packed full of games. Some highlights: Super Metroid A Link to the Past Donkey Kong Country Killer Instinct Mortal Kombat 2 Super Street Fighter 2 Kirby Super Star (with box and manual) Zombies Ate My Neighors Starfox 64 Stunt Race FX Top Gear Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtle Tournament Fighters (Just found a couple a weeks ago at my local Goodwill store in a basket full of Madden and NBA game carts) ...and a good many others. I also have a Dreamcast that isn't working right now. It may just need the LASER cleaned, but I haven't had the chance to do that. I have a semi-functional PS2 and a few games, but it's a first-gen PS2 and won't play a lot of games anymore. I have a Wii, one of the first-gen models that still had the Gamecube compatibility. It didn't get as much play as I had hoped and I ended up mostly playing the older Gamecube games as those can be purchased VERY cheap from Half.com. I got super-lucky when I bought the Wii because Wal-Mart was getting rid of their Gamecube stock and I was able to get a genuine Wavebird controller for about $15. I have an XBox 360 slim, that replaced an aging XBox 360 that wouldn't read newer game discs. Favorite games on that system are: <editing to add>Batman: Arkham Asylum easily my favorite on the console, and Arkham City, which, is still good, but not quite the level of excellence of Arkham Asylum Bad Company (The original) Ace Combat 6 Earth Defense Force 2017 ...and all of the Lego Movie tie-in games. My wife and I have and play ALL of the currently released titles (Except for Lego Star Wars 3) as the co-op gameplay is fantastic and they are fun without being frustrating. Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga Lego Indiana Jones Lego Indiana Jones 2 (my least favorite) Lego Batman Lego Batman 2 Lego Pirates of the Caribbean Lego Harry Potter parts 1&2 Lego Lord of the Rings ...and looking forward to the new Lego Marvel game coming out soon. Also, get the Blu-Ray of the Lego Batman 2 movie, it's awesome and a lot of fun. It combines the cutscenes from the game with a lot of extra footage to make a Batman/Superman crossover movie that works really well, all set in the Lego world! www.amazon.com/LEGO-Batman-Movie-Heroes-Blu-ray/dp/B00B5ARKDEWe just got a used PS3 from my brother-in-law but my wife plays that one. She likes the Final Fantasy games and is looking forward to getting Skyrim and Ni-No-Kuni for that.

Yeah, I downloaded that in HD and carry it around on my tablet to show people, awesome video! There's some awesome scenery in the world, but none where I live... I think this video would make a bike-rider out of anybody! Great music too, I downloaded the full audio track!
