I have never seen a surfer wearing a monocle, Kat. It could be a new fad.

"She gave a whopping 2 mpg in town, and 3-4 on the highway."It sounds like you and your dopple pumper Caddy could solve the world's oil glut all by yourself, Leo. Your great story gave me an excuse to post a pic of Billy Gibbons' Cadzilla.

" Klink, shut up or I will sent you to the Russian front!"All combat is terrible, but the Russian Front was especially so. The fuhrer invaded Russia in June, expecting victory by winter. The diesel fuel in the panzers froze before they reached Moscow, due to the frigid weather. -The fuhrer was so furious that he refused to provide winter uniforms for the troops in Russia until they achieved victory. -His troops endured the Russian Winter, (often called the most powerful weapon on earth) in their summer uniforms. -I have had some bad bosses, but none quite that bad.

Kinch helped people escape nazi occupied Europe. Isaac helped passengers and TV viewers escape the malaise of America in the 1970s.

Welcome to the forum. You are a lot tougher than me to ride through that New England winter.

Proper jetting will make your engine last longer too. Jets are normally sold in kits of 3 or more because there is no magic formula for the size that works well. Start by adding the next size bigger jet. Ride it for a week and look at the plug again. You want a nice tan color on the ceramic electrode. Backfiring or burbling during deceleration are signs that you are running lean.

I find so many typos in contemporary hard back books. Read a book published before 1990 and you rarely see any typos. We expect computers to do everything for us. Proof reading has been a big part of every job I have held, including gritty labor jobs.

Isaac had a better mustache, but Kinch had a deeper voice.

I had a 48cc 2stroke HT engine. I rode it 5 years before selling and it still ran great. -I had issues with the manual clutch. It would not stay in adjustment. I added a centrifugal (auto) clutch kit and I was much happier with it. -I would buy one again if I lived in an area where the roads were suitable.

300cc Vespa GTS's are already crazy expensive. Now they cost even more with a racing number painted on them.

If we still had the 55mph national speed limit from the 1970s, the Cub would sell much better in the states. I guess Honda wasn't interested in producing a 400cc Cub for compatibility with our growing speed limits. -I have ridden a real Honda Cub, but never owned one. I don't think my 1969 S really counts as a Cub.

You can still post in the "riding songs" thread while your scoot isn't running.
