Vespa is introducing the Sei Giorni (Six Day) model. Its styled after the the 1951 Vespa that won a Gold Medal nine times in the International Six Day Enduro (ISD). I think they call it the Six Day Trial more recently. It is not an off road scoot, but it is sort of styled like one. More at the link. If it sells well, the Chinese will likely design and sell their own version (hopefully a version with more off road capability). www.motorcycle.com/features/vespa-announces-sei-giorni-scooter.html

No more travel in the front or back suspension than the gold one behind it,,,a fender light and sticker away from the others,,,just a marketing gimmick playing on past glory,,,,

Just the idea of an off road scooter seams silly to me All the bumps would beat the motor to death The swing arm motor trany wheel all in one unit It needs a relatively smooth road surface And the shock travel... 😒 well maybe it would be better if I was a hundred pounds lighter. But I am not. At 260 lbs plus cargo I worry about bottoming out when I cross paint lines

Holy hype Batman! The entire article reads like an infomercial. Try to remember that in 1951 most motorcycles had either a rigid frame or a sprung hub and enduro courses reflected that. In 1951 people also rode stripped Harley's and Indians in these events. This is just a brazen attempt to enhance the alleged mystique of Vespa. Just like a Triumph Scrambler McQueen edition you could take the Vespa off-road....once.

300cc Vespa GTS's are already crazy expensive. Now they cost even more with a racing number painted on them.
