How about Willin, by The Band? I was thrilled to see the mission of Tucumcari when I moved to Arizona because Linda Ronstadt sang about it in her cover of Willin.

The Outlaws did a great version of Ghost Riders in the Sky as well.
How about Radar Love by Golden Earring. So 70s.

"Jesus just left Chicago" by ZZ Top. Some think the lyrics are actually talking about Elvis. This vid obviously predates the "Sharp Dressed Man" era.

Neutrons, because they make heavy water and nuclear fission possible. Nobody can power a submarine with a black hole, even a rotating one.

"During my morning commutes I pass the buss depot, as well as several busses along the way. When doing this I can not help but thinking that riding my scooter is cheaper than riding a buss. More fun too."
I used to commute occasionally on a bicycle with a 50cc engine that would do just a little over 20mph. The little motorized bike was still faster than taking the bus. I didn't have to wait around at a bus stop either.

I should have paid more attention to those TV shows hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson.

"yep, train train off of that album"
The harmonica intro is awesome. I think it was Medlocke's grandfather on the harmonica.

I love Slow Ride. Very appropriate for Houston rush hour. -Here is my choice: Highway Song by Blackfoot. They were a Two Album Wonder, rather than a One Hit Wonder.

Post a vid or pics of your bike. I commuted by motorized bicycle for a while. My bike had one of those China Girl engines in the frame.

I have never ridden a Harley, but it always amazes me how long a couple of hog riders that just met each other can talk about their current rides AND every other Harley they ever owned. The bikes are members of their families. We scooter riders can learn a few things from those Harley riders; like unity and enthusiasm.

Vespa is introducing the Sei Giorni (Six Day) model. Its styled after the the 1951 Vespa that won a Gold Medal nine times in the International Six Day Enduro (ISD). I think they call it the Six Day Trial more recently. It is not an off road scoot, but it is sort of styled like one. More at the link. If it sells well, the Chinese will likely design and sell their own version (hopefully a version with more off road capability). www.motorcycle.com/features/vespa-announces-sei-giorni-scooter.html

Hobbes. Haven't we done this one before? Maybe it was Calvin vs Bart Simpson. Maybe deja vu.

It's tough to compete when somebody plays the "Mel Brooks" card.

I had not heard of Randolf Scott until the Statler bros did a song about him. (Or was it the Oak Ridge boys?)
