Well, that did not tell me anything. There is no screw to take off to fill the oil. My drain plug is on the bottom outside case. I just used the vent hose on top of the case, crossed my fingers and squirted 6 oz. in it.

Has anyone run across a Gy6150 engine that did not have a fill screw for the gear oil? It does not look like there is one on mine. I have posted several times on here and no one ever answers. So until I can get this scoot road ready and iron out these kinks I will never get to "scoot around".

I was going to attempt to change the gear oil in my PST150-11 that has a gy6150 engine on it. And I cannot for the life of me find the fill hole on the case. I have googled , you tubed, researched etc. cannot find it. There are no distinguishable washers on any bolt above and to the right of the drain plug. I read that in some cases you can use the vent hose that comes out of the top of the case, but how do you know if you have enough oil in there? I also read that it takes 6oz, but then I read 3 oz. so I am totally confused. Any help would be appreciated !!

[replyingto=alleyoop]alleyoop[/replyingto]Mine has reverse but when I bought it the reverse handle was broken so I just disconnected the cable. But I still notice while driving a somewhat uneven surface that there is some "shaken goin on" in the front. I thought it may be tire pressure, which it says 33 psi on the front (pst150-11) but that's not it. I will take your advice and check tightness of bolts and frame welds which I have noticed are spotty at best.

Hi Ya'll, I have a pst150-11 and noticed a little fraying of the throttle cable . Was wondering if this was a big deal and need to change it right away or if it will last a while? If it does need changing, what is the correct length to order? And also, I wanted to change the rusty, crusty, lug nuts on the wheels and the fairing trim bolts but do not exactly know where to go for that? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey Ya'll, I just got a PST150-11 Trike and was wondering if there is a thread something that explains how to remove the plastics if I would ever need to?
