Not good JR, it covers some of the words. Can you make them transparent that will help, better yet can you move them onto the Background Gray area that moves along as well and there they would not interfere with anything. Alleyoop J.R I'm with alley on this. Alley, i just adjusted the screen to put them out on the side (Ctrl + Mouse wheel) OR ( Ctrl + ( '+' or '-' keys). This puts them to the side, but then the type is a-bit smaller then us blind bat's can read. Has Everyone not heard of the "PAGE UP" and "PAGE DOWN" keys that are one your keyborad? [Smile]

The plastic throttle grip that holds the cable in the slot either came off and is stuck or the plastic broke: Alleyoop ----------------------------------- E- throttle ? Is that only on 250's? I have never seen that on a 150.

I think the draw was coming from the headlights. Don't know how seeing their AC, but when I switched the stator I noticed that they would stay on constant, but so weak you could barely tell. Switched stator back and never saw them like that again. My headlight's and the tail light work off A/C as well (that why they dim when at low RPM and bright at higher RPM) The turn sig's work off D/C and do not dim as do the BRIGHTS that will toggle on without the engine running. This does however come right off the VR/R. My Brothers scooter (a schwinn valo 50) is straight D/C powered. (different VR/R set up). My biggest '***-*****' is with a lot of the slap and go Agm (Glass matt) Battery's, they get a bad Cell and you'r off to the circus looking for a problem when they read 12.5v right off the charger and then drop off over a small bit of time and read 13.8 when you test them on a running scooter you know has a good working charging system. That's why i go with a self services one, that way i know i put in the electrolyte in my self, let it set a full hour, then caped it. Stared a small 48 hour charge and tested it before use. I never like a battery with a dead Cell. They lie to your volt meter, over heat your VR/R and steal from your stater untell it takes everything (and your wallet) Hostage! Blam dastered's !! (This post is not geared to anyone, just food for thought as i've seen a few times on diffrent scooters with chi-na name brand and you'r scooter might very--ALOT in the electrical department.) Monday Green=power Black= Ground ====== Wednessday Green=power Brown=Ground ======== Friday (sockeye Drink lunch/Payday) RED is Power Black is Bad ---------------------------------------------------- *= Som-B1tch

You could oped in for a bigger battery next time you need one. You would also get a bit more CCA and Amp HR as well. Just an ideal that worked for me.

I don't know about that Tomos Nitro 50 seem's a bit iffy They're made by SYM and every part is readily available unlike the two models you originally posted. Hey Am-can Psycho. Does SYM still have the ceramic engine coating?

I have a friend that is in his 50's that bought a used Eton beamer 1 - 2T that was abused, wrecked, ran out of 2T oil a few times and was in need of a good old scrap yard for recycling. But it ran and ran quite well if you set the manual choke just right. Well built bike from what i have seen. % of the scooters you get off the internet (under $700+ shipping) would have never lasted that long. He said he gave $50.00 for it, so i didn't give him a hard time about it given it was his first scooter. Dam thing still run's too. 9,800 miles and some, is what it has last time we talked. [EDIT] called him after this post to confirm the mileage, and added to this post.

Ya, pretty stupid State laws.. By IL I was told to either get a licensed motorcyclist to ride with me or take it there is a pickup. I thought, what a backward State, because I knew no one in IL... So I moved back to MO where one can ride legally on a permit. All that is required in MO is a $3 class M permit to operate a motorcycle: operate in daylight hours only, no passengers aloud, must wear helmet. CA also had these same rules, if memory is right. I knew a guy whom passed the written exam class M in CA at age 16, passed the written exam of drivers exam and could ride legally: no passengers and only in daylight hours. But CA had a long written test and to ride legally he could only miss 10% of the questions. Glad you posted that Charles given what happen to you in ['ill- a -noise = $$.] As far as CA. goes, that's simple and rightfully so by the man himself. BTW change you user location back to MO. Glad you're back at home my friend. (Smile)

TMAX belt

Being a Tmax owner myself, I don't think that there are many Tax riders here on this forum. I kinda wish there was a few more myself. The Tmax is a really nice looking ride, but the price of that belt kinda hurt's my feeling (AKA pocketbook $) a bit --Ouch! I'll need to stick to my want-to-be T-max Mini, Pictured below. Hey it's Yellow right?

While I am firmly in the camp of self servicing your chinese scooter in order to save money (and enjoy it), these discussions often make me think of this scene. Without people taking their bikes to mechanics, there would be a lot of mechanics out of work! Zorg explains how destruction leads to creation(unfortunately cannot embed this video) Hear ya go Jerry.
