Butte is pronounced;

Buuutte!

It does take some imagination to see the Elephant in the Butte.

When the Butte was an Island there were some wild goats on it.

It was fun to watch for them when fishing around the Butte.

There was a black baby goat the last year they were there.

It was entertaining watching its antics as it played around.

When the water got low enough the goats were removed to a safer place.

Rode down to the boat ramp to see how much the water has come up.

Looks like it came up a little bit.

Then rode down to the river below the dam.

River has a lot of moss growing in it.

Rode between 40 and 50 mph to the river.

Rode about 40 coming back.

Speedometer turned over to 400 + miles.

Since I got the new tire on the scooter rides smooth.

Nice ride!

Got the new tire.

Had it put on the rim and tried it out.

Smmmmooooooottttthhh!!!!!

No more bounce!

I prefer to ride rather than work on it!

Tried letting the air out to about 10#. Riding a bit, then airing back up.

No change.

Local shop could not balance as their machine spindle was to large for the rim.

Another local shop took the tire loose and re mounted it.

No change.

A shop in Las Cruces said that a 13" scooter tire did not need to be balanced and it was the tire.

Called the distributor (scooterdepot). Explained the problem and what I had done attempting to fix it.

They are sending me another tire on warranty.

When I get it mounted I will post about how smooth it rides then with no bounce.
