Has anybody ever seen a small tow-behind cart for scooters/bikes any pictures of them? I think it's a great idea for hauling small stuff, groceries etc.Just around town stuff. ;D

I don't think I'd like a scooter trailer. Just too much baggage.

I haven't actually built one, but it should work.

I like them, but not that much seriously? if i thought i could sell 1 per week at that price, i would invest my time in learning how to make a quality trailer. if you really want one for yourself, you should consider building it. how hard can it be?

I have seen conversions done of the bicycle trailers for babies. Pick one up at a yard sale for cheap, most of the work is done, you just need a way to hook the hitch to the scooter.

It wouldn't be TOO hard to put on some high-speed wheels and tires either. Wire up tail lights, turn signals and brake lights to a standard trailer-hitch harness and you'd be in business... I have an old lawn-edger that with the engine and parts removed, would leave a near-perfect trailer chassis. I also have a set of small aircraft tail-wheels (cute little boogers... 4" rims and 7" tires) rated for 100 mph. It would be EASY to make a slick hauling trailer, BUT... Texas law REQUIRES it to be titled and licensed. Titling a home-built trailer is no problem, but the plate is about $40 per year, like the scooter itself. If I ever decide it's worth the money, I'll make one. Surely is something to think about!Leo in Texas
