I was at a motorcycle shop and test fit a few helmets. I really like the Nolan N104 helmet, They didn't have my size and all they had was black. I don't like black helmets for various reasons. This is a rather expensive helmet at about $350. Does any one own one of these helmets?
The higher end helmets are a little out of my price range. Such as the HJC RPHA MAX, the Neotec, and the Shuberth C3. I also tried a Gmax GM54S helmet and a Scorpion EXO 900, I also liked both of these helmets. Any comments on these two helmets.

I have used a gas tank repair putty before. You must make sure to clean it good then rough it up with sand paper, and use as little putty as possible. Your best bet is to solder it though.

Now I'm not bad mouthing scrappy. I have generally gotten good service from him. Some times things happen that are out of his control. I'm just sayin' a better description of out of stock parts would be a help. In the past the out of stock items were received in about 4 weeks. So no worries, I will just have another spare carb. I will still order from him. He is fairly cheap and I usually get parts in about four days, if they are in stock.

I ordered a carb. from him on march 29. He sent me an e-mail stating they where out of stock and would be 4-6 weeks. On may 10 I called about my order. He said it was delayed by 2 weeks. I called him again on may 28. This time he said it was being held by customs. I told him I was getting rather upset, and will be taking my business else were. He did offer to refund my money though. I told him I would give him the benefit of the doubt and would wait for the carb.
If this item was out of stock it should have been stated on the website and he should not have taken my money. I have ordered many parts from him over the last several years and this is not the first time this has happened. This is unacceptable. after he sent me the e-mail stating they were out of stock. I ordered another carb from another place,I received it in less than a week.

I just renewed insurance for my magnum 300 last month. I pay $189 a year for full coverage + medical and passenger liability. I got a quote for my 50cc and it will be $269 a year. Even though it isn't required I still like to have it. This is through american family.

I recently got a Sony HDR AS15 action camera. I opted for this over the GoPro because it is cheaper and other factors such as image stabilization, low lighting and the shape, ect. This is how I mounted it to my scooter. I stuck the flat mount on the top of the brake master cylinder. I then bought a cheap tripod with a ball mount and removed the legs. I then drilled and taped the bottom of the ball mount to accept the camera quick mount. I will try to post some video's when I finally figure out how to use it and edit the video's. I can figure out just about anything mechanical, but electronic stuff is all greek to me. Roy

I'm not going to get into the legal part of your problem. I'm glad that you were not hurt to serious, but you should go to a hospital just to make sure. What kind of damage did the scooter sustain? Some photo's of the damage will help.
I just purchased a sony action cam just for this purpose. But I think a better option would be a dash cam. These are made just for this purpose. They are made for cars but could be adapted to a scooter. They are made to start recording when the power is turned on and stop recording when the ignition is turned off, so you don't have to remember to turn it on and off. They come with a variety of features such as built in gps, g-shock sensors, duel cameras, ect. They range in price from about 50 bucks and up depending on the quality and features. But if you go this rout do a lot of research and beware of where you buy from. There are a lot of cheap copy's.

I did odd jobs, mowed grass, ect. But my main job was working for a flower shop selling roses and carnations on a street corner. I made fifty cents a dozen. I was 12 years old.

Well, I got my 50cc trike because I don't need to deal with the 3 T's: taxes, titles, and tags. I do have insurance though. I love to mod and tinker to get the most out of small engines that can be had. This little trike is my tinker toy, most mods for it are fairly cheap. I got the larger 300cc To go on longer trips and keep up with traffic on roads of 45mph and higher. Not much modding can be done to these larger engines, so that takes some of the fun out of it for me.

Did it make any kind of unusual noise before it just stopped? Start by taking the valve cover of and look to see if every thing is in place. If so you will have to go deeper into the engine.
