You know, my dad always wanted to get jury duty. And of course never even once got a summons. Probably one of the greatest disappointments of his life.

Makes you wonder just how hard some Navy-guys thought to work out that acronym.... Here, there's lots of respect for vets and actives. Then again, we also have Liberty Memorial, and the attitude that first paid for it still runs high. So lots of "Proud parent of a Marine"-type stickers. >'Kat

The ADV does look nice, but that Streetfighter is fairly ugly. And what's with the pipes up high on the third bike? Wouldn't your knees be at risk of burns (or your pants, if you're wearing your gear?)

You didn't vote, 'bender. tsk tsk This is a tougher one for me. One goes around with no armor, as 'bender pointed out. But he also goes sneakily behind folks' backs. The other is out in the open, ready to confront head-on. And as fly pointed out, wears ATGATT. Guess I'll go with the upfront rather than the sneaky. Seems more macho to be in the open rather than skulking through the dark. Besides that one of my fave series of books is Samurai Cat.

horseshoes Uncle
(because my Uncle was a horseshoe pitching fiend. Loved playing it. And I believe won the family championship every reunion, which was big bragging rights indeed) (thanks fly' for triggering those happy memories!)

...I hear the stories but I haven't had the problem. I'm still curious how many people just bought gas stirred up by recent delivery. My old mech warned Mom & me about that. "If you see the tanker, don't fill up." Of course, you don't know if the tanker just pulled out a couple minutes earlier. Say--how long does the crud stay all stirred up? >'Kat

I would go with the newer Roughouse, in spite of the mileage. The Yamaha bike was unused for a long time, and that creates problems. Just gotta point out that because a scooter is older with low mileage, doesn't necessarily mean it's sat unused for a long time... >'Kat

Hm. This is such a toughie.
One keeps my phone service and internet service (back in the day) going, and risks his very life to do this service for not only strangers he'll never encounter but for strangers who probably look down at him despite he's way up there.
One plays a game, for a way up there salary.
