I filled up Mon after work. I think it's the first time I hit triple-digits on one tank of gas! That felt really good!
I lost my wonderful new job, but I had never fully left my nasty old job and that boss VERY HAPPILY and excitedly took me back full-time. Sadly, I'm back to irregular hours. Worse, I bounce around store-to-store. Yest I even worked one store in the morn, a different one after lunch. Either one alone would've been a joyous scoot, but not both the same day. Sigh. And then I work at the shop inside Wallyworld, so I can't scoot those days (where would I safely park Peej for eight unattended hours?). And I work across State Line, and there is absolutely no way I'm scooting that far when I can car on the interstate in less than half the time.
But I'm scooting when I can. And lovin' it. Not as much though as the two times I scooted to the new job--absolutely jaw-dropping beautiful vista that I never knew existed!

(and I'm essential, too. I was for NazHQ until tithing dropped thus finances dropped thus my job dropped, SIGH and still am for Purple who gladly took me back full-time. But I want my wonderful receptionist job at NazHQ instead--it was so perfect for me and me for it, and such a positive environment and so supportive and I can't think of anything negative except that they couldn't keep me on--and even so, they made it very very clear that when giving picks up again and funds improve that they very much want me back)

Not today, but scooted yest.
Y'alles will be happy to hear I finally got new tires. Had to go with Pirellis 'cause the shop couldn't get the back tire's size in Michelin. Who doesn't make the same type anyways. Austin at ScooterWorld scolded me in a nice way for having 15 (17? most likely) yo tires. But it's partly their fault--I had them check them every year at tune-up, and last year was the first time they mentioned my tires were starting to look a little aged.
So new tires, new oil (throw out almost unused oil from last year's t.u.), new fluids, new sparks, total check-over. I'm good to go!
Drove to work after 'cause all that took longer than anticipated. Happily the rains held off 'til later that eve. Those new tires sure made the ride a lot less hard! Wow! I didn't realize how tires transmit all the little bumps in the street--I thought the shocks controlled that.
Since my hours are--well, will be again, once the Stay-at-Home is lifted--regular and earlier, I plan to drive my scootie lots more. Funky late hours the past couple years just weren't conducive to it.
Sure, it was a little stomach-clenching. Esp 'cause the ride home was windy. But it also felt so good to be back on Peej!

Has anyone seen any of the latest Disneys on-screen? Toy Story 4, Aladdin, Lion King redux? Just wondering if I can wait for library, or if any of them benefit enough from the big screen to pony up my admittedly-tight dollars?
