My new carb should be in the mail today. It's my old one that I have adjusted. I'll try and see if I have adjusted it right. I didn't know how many mm I need for the height I just tried to eyeball it plus I blew in the hole . I'll try to re adjust it to see if it will work.

The eBay link I posted has the plug on there. I don't know why it's there. I read somewhere where they said that it was to heat the gas in the carb bowl. My Linhai bogs midrange and high rpm. I don't know how to post pics here.

It doesn't it's the same carb that's on the scootdawgs website. scootdawg.proboards.com/thread/21630/linhai-assembly-service-tips-modsMy linhai has an electric fuel pump. The reason why I bought that particular carb was because for the plugs on the bottom of the carb. My scoot bogs down like it's starving of fuel. When i baught the linhai i put seafoam in it. I may have put to much in it. I pulled the carb out adjusted the float (I think) cleaned it (I think) put it back in and it was worse than before.

Hello every one, I am having problems with my 2006 linhai superstrada 300 bogging down. I have been online trying to find the problem.. This is what I have replaced thus far 1. I replaced the fuel filter 2. Cleaned the carburetor 3. Changed my spark plug 4. Cleaned the air filter 5. Made sure all my hoses were tight. 6. Adjusted the fuel mixture screw according to standard.
Since I have done all of this here is what happening now... when I pace the bike on the kick stand and run the engine to wot.. at the end it will bog down then when I try to crank it back up it wont start as if its out of gas. I will do the same also if i was riding but it will bog down then coast.
It has about 5000 miles on it. As I have been reading forums someone said that it might be the fuel pump or also the valves that has never been adjusted since I had it. Any help will be appreciated.... either I'm bout to take it to the shop... but I'm afraid they might get me....

My first scoot was a Jonway YY250T. It was pretty good but I wanted a little more power so I sold it and bought a Linhai Aeolus 300. They tell me that Yamaha own part of the Linhai company and the quality of the Linhai Aeolus is good for a Chinese bike. My next bike will be a Burgman 650 Executive or a Piaggio X10 500 Executive...

The restrictions are on the 49cc scooters, anything larger does not have them. Those restrictions were to keep them from going faster than the law allows for non motorcycle class motorized bikes/mopeds and such. What do you mean by "stuck" Might be me...it seems like it stutters when I'm at 75mph but I guess I'm at top speed. I guess I was looking at around 80mph in stock top speed for the aeolus 300. I have a exhaust upgrade on the way.. I had a 244cc jonway clone and I topped it out at 69mph... I figured that a 275cc can give me bout 10 extra mph.
