Ok guys, I am loving the Linhai aeolus 300cc with the 275cc engine right now but I have a quick question... what is the max speed on this scoot... I checked my gps says 76 and 80 on the scootmeter. But is seem like it can go faster but its stuck. Are there any restrictors on this engine. I heard that some scooters has an extra washer on the belt or the exhaust pipe it close. Any ideas....or this is the fastest it goes. ...

Heads up guys.. Still looking for a scooter ..correction I found another deal Aprilia Atlantic 500 with 1200 miles.... getting hot!!! Sounds Good?  Sorry guys the Aprilia has 12000 mile is that to many.....pus I found a burgman 400s for 2200 only 2100 miles.. So this is what I have to decide on 03 aprilia atlantic 500, 12000 miles, $1800.00 06 burgman 400 s, 2106 miles, $2200.00 HELLO good people, heads up. The Burgman was sold soon after I posted the first post on it. And the Aprilia Atlantic had a salvage title which the owner did not tell me until I forced him to. So I got a great deal on a 2010 Linhai Aeolus 300 for $1300.00 only 2000 miles on it. From a retired man that just got his motorcycle liscence but don't like driving them. The scoots isn't scratched up at all with new Michelin tires, new spark plug, new battery, tall windshield and the small one, luggage box to. All for $1300. 00. I'm happy... |

I have seen a 2009 burgman at a bmw scooter dealer for 1800 with 20, 000 miles in excellent condition. Is that a good deal concerning the mileage of the scoot.

Hello everyone, I recently sold my 2009 jonway yy250t 244cc engine today to get a bigger scooter. I found another scooter called a sunny 2012 dongfang 300cc scooter with the same price as my other one. Does anyone knows anything about these scooters. Are there any parts for this scooter as well. Update, I found the problem... I took the whole rear light assembly apart and come to find out it was a wire that ripped out of the plug.....thanks guys  |

No stator problem because if it's charging and lights are bright then the stator is fine along with the R/R. Since you took it apart and changed bulbs this sounds like the classic "you have a bad connection in the wiring." This is very easy to do when pulling the front off and then putting it back together. More than likely you have a very bad ground connection in the blinker/flasher circuit, reason I say this is the "it works fine if I push the brakes." thing. Now these Chinese plugs are famous for one wire or pin getting pushed partly out when plugging and unplugging them. It could also be in the plugs of the left switch assembly because the turn signal switch is on the same assembly along with the horn. Question, some Jonways have a headlight on/off switch some don't, does this one have one? This tells me more on which model you have because there are four different versions with different wiring diagrams including the European version. You've got a loose/bad wire connection gremlin and start with going through the grounds. JR There is no on and off button on the lights soon as I crank it up there are on. |

hello everyone. I own a Jonway yy250t. I currently changed my headlights they are 50 watts. I didn't notice any difference with the lights but yesterday when I came home I noticed that my rear lights were not blinking right. when the engine is off the signals work fine but when I crank up the scooter and turn on the signals and ad the break they blink awkwardly. also when I turn on the hazard lights only 1 light blinks in the back but when I hit the brakes both of them work. does anyone know what my problem might be. All of my front turning signals are fine. Can it be my rectifier or my stator. Or can it b3 that the headlights that I bought has to many watts causing things to short out. Thanks in advance
