I'm not sure about size, but if you can find Pirelli's then I would do that. I have them, and what a difference. Easily the best purchase for a smoother ride.

Why not just take off the carb and hoses, and store them inside. Then put them back on when weather permits?

Its been raining here a lot, so I wanted to just start it and let it run for a few minutes. Just wondering if not unplugging it would hurt either the tender, or the charging system. To be safe I'll just unplug it. Not a big deal to unplug it, just wondering.

Is it ok to start and run your scooter with a battery tender Jr. plugged in?

Yea, the fit is a little tricky for sure. But, after yesterday I can get it in and out in a jiffy... lol

Feel a little dumb, but here's what happened. Thanks alley, you got me thinking. When I put the sock filter on I pushed it all the way to the end of the radiator hose, which cut my air, and made me run rich. Pulled the sock down a little and voila, back to normal. Thank you all for your help. Now I'll try the 30mm carb, but not for a couple of days; I need a break.

Thanks alley, I'll try my smallest jet 115, and let you know.

Put a new plug in, and let it idle for about five minutes, plug looks like the old one I pulled. This whole thing has me baffled.

Well no Bananas in the tail pipe. Any other ideas are welcomed. I'm at a loss here. Not sure if this could be an issue, but in order to get the uni to fit I used a piece of radiator hose, and zip tied a filter sock to the end, other than that everything is back the way is was.

No problem there, she don't move too good. I'll laugh at this later. Right now...

He was playing with lemons. And they were small enough to go down the pipe.

O.k I have problems. With the new carb I also put in a Casoli cdi, and a new coil. I tried to tune the carb, but no matter what I did, when I hit the throttle it would stall, pop, and die. I tried needle adjustments, main jets from 115-125, and literally the same results. Frustrated, I put the old carb back on, and when I hit the throttle, much to my chagrin, the same thing was happening. I put the stock cdi, and coil back on... Same results. My plug is black with a carbon looking soot. I can't figure this out. Help please. The engine idles fine, no surging, or anything. It sounds like it's ready to go... Until I hit the throttle.
One variable that is a possibility, is that my sister was over last night with her 16 mo. and he has a fascination with the tail pipe. All I've seen him do is stick his hand in it, but he may have put something in there.

Put stock idle jet in 38, and its idling fine, also a 117.5 main. I have to modify my uni a little then tune, so far so good.

Mine is not marked either, however, it looks to be the same as a 130. I'll start off with a 120, and see how it goes. Do you think I should swap out the pilot from my stock carb?
