I purchased the ones from ebay, and they work fine. They're a little thinner than stock but it's not an issue. And, Ace Hardware will cut them for free. I slipped the clerk a five, and all was well.

I can speak only of the one I bought from scrappy's. Performance wise it's fine, the fit was easy, which if you look around most aftermarket mufflers are not plug and play. The sound is nice, not too loud, but a deeper throatier sound. It's listed under performance parts, and I have the $149.00 one. Hope that helps.

Not sure if this helps, but mine is a hunter style, and it's 1.6 gallons.

As a side note, now that it's all back together and working great. Scrappy's instrument cluster works great, and the speedo is almost true. Yup TRUE! Only downside, if it is, is that the main numbering is in KM/H, no big deal to me, but having a accurate speedo is worth it!

Well after 4 yrs. of owning this scooter. I finally blew a fuse. So, the fix was simple, and a loose tach wire was the culprit.

I'm replacing my instrument panel, and the plastic neck it goes into. I took the old one off, hooked up the switches, and plugged harness back in. Before I put everything back together I tried to start it. No power! Battery is good. It's possible I may have not put the right connector back in the starter button, it's the two prong one that's together with the kill switch? But, I'm not sure how I could have done something that would cause no power. The fuel gauge won't register, the brake light won't lite, and of course the starter won't turn. I have a multi-meter, but I need some guidance on where to check and what setting the multimeter should be on. I think its something really easy, because I haven't done much to it. Frustrated!

Don't use cork. I tried it. I works for a little, but that's it. I tried to find a plastic carb float at Napa Auto, but had no luck with that either; couldn't find one that fit. Once I figured out time/money I just ordered a new one. I've been through three or four, and this one is now going out. Reads good when full, then once it gets around a half a tank or so, it falls to E. Next time I'm ordering three, or I may just give up on 'em.

I was thinking he could make a few. I bet they would sell great on ebay, or even amongst us dawgs. I would buy one.

So, I've had these in for a while now, and I can say "success!" They are plenty bright draw 35W, output 55W. They also have a nice light blue color to them; looks nice.

Seriously you won't know you're riding the same scoot. It's a big difference.

No, he charged $ to change the jet. Another $200 to adjust the needle. This is how he broke down the bill to me.

And there's no clique. The help, and knowledge I've received here has allowed me to keep my scooter. Mainly because, no one works on these around here, so it's up to me. After some "rookie" mistakes it really doesn't take too long to get the hang of it, and save yourself time and money. I will add, I found a mechanic who will work on my bike, but his prices are too high, and inconsistent. For example, he charged me $ , just to rejet my carb. I can now do it in about 30 minutes.
