Here we go guys. I did my research and actually went to a yamaha dealer that sells off parts as well down in west miami dade.
I had the nicest most can do attitude guys going all in on my wifes scoot.... they just did not want to believe that a replica could not fit a yamaha exhaust.... but, after much fiddling... taking off my current exhaust and trying to fit the zuma after market on... it would have to be a weld custom from the exhaust to the engine if i really REALLY wanted that one. But they also said that if i did custom one... i might mess up the flow of the carburetor because of the output from that exhaust. So they suggested that i just buy a GY6 yoshimura replica. I installed it myself, got it from modcycles ( great store in dade with a bunch of motorcycle and scooter junkies, but not the best website, they said they are working on it)
Dished out 125$ for the exhaust and pipe. Not bad, they offered to install it for that and the cost of labor.. but i did it myself for the learning experience
Sounds great, low rumble. Not too obnoxious... but it is certainly better and louder than the stock one that came with it.
Ill post a pic as soon as it uploads on my slow wifi lol

Hey gang. Quick question.
Im thinking of getting a yoshimura style... or the yoshimura carbon fiber exhause for my wifes baccio bro 150cc. Just cauee the other muffler is starting to rust and i dont feel like coating it and dealing with that. Plus it just is calling to me to get it.
My only issue is. I cant find anywhere on the internet that says that you could put that exhaust on that scooter .. they make the exhaust for the yamaha zuma 125s.... and this bro baccio is a replica of the yamaha... so im wondering if it would fit on ky scoot???
Just curious

Well. This is my moped then. Custom made and assembled from the frame up by me.... ive had it for years and always just called it and my scooters my "bikes" Dude that Scoot is truly Awesome. I'm in love with the simplicity A Flying Machine Factory pipe and all I need to digitize may Dads 1949 Whizzer After i posted here last week... i rode it to work cause i was missing it.... still hauls boogie.... hits 45 on my phones gps. Had everyone at my job offering to buy it.... but ill never sell it. . Its my last resort mode of transportation with a motor on it.... if the car and scooter die.... this is always in my shead locked up and drained with the fluids in a gas can or container next to it... the hardest part of that scooter was weld sealing the gas tank to the front fork ... but not actually doint that part... it was stress testing the weld job which was the most stressful. I have added a set of old shock absorbers to the bottom of the seat. Where it is attaches to the bike... sincw hitting a bump on that bike is..... life altering to say the least It also had led light strips all over it..

Honestly, the cops are very loose when it comes to their enforcement of these bikes... only once was i chased back when i was like 17... and i just hopped the sidewalk and went through a parking lot and hopped another sidewalk and he just gave up... but most of the time, if you arent driving like an , they really sont want to deal with the paper work.

I always call it my bike... most people call it bikes in short down gere in south florida... at least my large group of friends who ride scooters.
We also have a large group (myself included) of people who ride customized bicycles with motors on them (i used to ride mine alot before i got a scooter/before i had a car) so bike is a term thats short and easy, its like people calling their Toyota or Mercedes their "ride" its essentially a shorthand or a easy/quick way of saying it.

I make it a point to not buy machines that are uglier than I am,,,and both those early hondas both look like Kirby vacuums with big wheels,, but they are pretty much bulletproof ,,, after all they are real hondas Hey they really are bullet proof. I have a 3 wheel big red 250cc ATC honda thats i think 33 years old... i just start it once a month and run it around the block and take it to my family ranch once or twice a year... it starts on the first pull every time (yes, pull start gents). Hondas really are the definition of longevity in the motora department.

Development: which may be bad..... so i got home deom atlanta to the heat and mosquitoes in hollywood fl... so i took off the cover of the belt... no markings on the case from a loose belt... very VERY LITTLE wear on the belt... and when i mean little wear i mean from the small amout of miles on the bike. Just under 1000 miles.
Heres where is scary, maybe its cauee it hasent been ridden in a few days. But i took it out for a ride to further isolate the sound and feeling that i was telling yall about..
NOTHING! no noise, no weird clacking. Nothing... even if i slammed the throttle WOT from a stop ... ill investigate further and stress test it?
My opinion..i think its a problem that reared its head in the clutch assembly or MAYBE the variator crying out in warning... and it just stopped after not being run in 5 days.. if it comes back ill video and record and share with yall.
Runs like a dream.. but that hiccup is sacry for me cause now i cant even continue to investigate the problem.. and if i take it to my buddie whos a chinese scooter guru hes gon a look at me like im hearing LOL.

For continued diagnosis, heres whats up.
A. The bike makes no noise with it up on the center stand with no load, it only makes the noise when i gun it from a standstill or moving at 20 mph or lower and i gun it.
B. I only feel it a tiny bit, its mostly all noise.
C. I held the rear break down as hard as i could and slammed the throttle and nothing happened, then i slowly increased the throttle with the break on from idle to full throttle, no noise.
I am super appreciative or all the help guys, i am in atlanta for a few days so when i get back im really gonna get into it. Cant wait to find out what the issue is with it.

I know it's been a while, but I have finally posted a new #motovlog. This episode was filmed on my birthday. I discuss the events of last year's birthday, talk about the Keurig coffeemaker, touch on the importance of proper tire inflation, and scare the bejeebers out of some crows. Job done. Yo ungabunga. Once again thank you for the almost daily vlogs. They are awesome and it feels good to see another pcx rider out their. I do have a question. What exhaust are you using... after almost being merged into a few timea on the honda... i feel that although i love how quiet and smooth she runs... i would want to put a yoshimura exhaust on the bike, which would be louder and have people notice me during the day better when im riding next to them or scooter past them. Do they make yoshimura for 150s? And if they dont, what do you suggest??? My prive range is max 300... but if its close to 300 it better sound like a gosh darn Metallica concert coming out of the nikes rear-end. Thanks

Reconsider if your intention is to post multiple threads on the same issue, as that segments the discussion, complicates finding a solution, and hinders researching. I agree with your point made, i should have statee that part one would be the problem solving and the part 2 post would be after i solved the issue. Thanks for pointing that tho

Even though... i have only put about 500 miles on this gear oil... i normally change fluids every 500 miles cause im freakishly ocd about having my scooter have high quality clean fluids running through it. Guess I am getting spoiled by my Aprilia. Engine oil and gear lube in the Aprilia are good for 6,200 miles as long as you run motorcycle 4T grade synthetics. Gear lube drains out looking like you just poured it from a new bottle. I was changing the fluids once or twice a month when I had my GY6. Just a side note, the clacking only happens when their is a load on the bike.
