I went on the advice from a guy at the local scooter shop. I went in to get the factory fan and told him I had ordered the Racing Variator and Racing Clutch so he told me to check out the Glixal fan. According to the Glixal website it would work, should have known better when it said 20% more performance..  |

Got the fan and it will not fit unless there's a trick to installing it. Any recommendations on a fan?

May have figured it out... Looks like the Race Belt was a 729/17/30 Long Case Belt and I need the 669/18/30.  |

Put it back together with all new parts and the Belt is getting chewed up after only 5 miles. It doesnt look like the belt is going down into the clutch pulley at all. When I compare it to the stock belt it looks much more square and not nearly as V shaped. What belt do I need to run?

Looks like all the parts are trashed. Clutch has broken spring mount. Rollers have flat spots all over and Variator cover is missing 2 sliders.
Anyone know the weight of the stock rollers?

Thanks for the reply's. Is it normal for the belt to take out the Clutch and fan every time it breaks?

The plastic fan doesn't look like the fans I have seen in the repair videos on youtube. I cant find a place where the little eye-hook piece broke off (the little piece in the pic with the spring) Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, this is my daily rider.. Here are pics of the insides.   |

Belt broke and trashed the plastic fan, I have no idea how it was attached. Also there is a Spring and broken piece that looks like the spring attached to it? Its a 2015 Tao Tao 50cc.
Will I need another Casing? The kick-start spring also looks like its not right either.

I also have a 2015 Tao Tao Speed that runs consistently around 40-48, has done it since it was new. I weigh 185. Roads here are flat and straight where I ride, usually half tuck in on the long open straights. I bought it new with two miles on it. All I have done is change oil/gear lube and adjust idle.  |
