Belt broke and trashed the plastic fan, I have no idea how it was attached. Also there is a Spring and broken piece that looks like the spring attached to it? Its a 2015 Tao Tao 50cc.
Will I need another Casing? The kick-start spring also looks like its not right either.
Thanks for any help.

If you bent or lost the gear retainer clip your kickstart will not work properly and possibly sit at a funny angle. Pictures would allow aid greatly if you can post/link them. Edit: Do not run the engine with a new belt installed and no fan, you'll likely shred the new belt due to heat.

The plastic fan doesn't look like the fans I have seen in the repair videos on youtube. I cant find a place where the little eye-hook piece broke off (the little piece in the pic with the spring) Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, this is my daily rider.. Here are pics of the insides.

Here are pics of the insides. There are tons of youtube videos about belt replacement, if you want to keep frm having to replace your fan every time a belt breaks there are performance setups with the fan and drive face cast as one piece. Usually comes with a slightly larger variator and roller weights/sliders.

Looks like all the parts are trashed. Clutch has broken spring mount. Rollers have flat spots all over and Variator cover is missing 2 sliders.
Anyone know the weight of the stock rollers?

Most are in the 8.5g range. I have ordered a complete variator kit that came with much lighter weights before, but maybe only once or twice. Almost always they are 8.5g on average, whether they came with the engine or in a replacement variator.

Put it back together with all new parts and the Belt is getting chewed up after only 5 miles. It doesnt look like the belt is going down into the clutch pulley at all. When I compare it to the stock belt it looks much more square and not nearly as V shaped. What belt do I need to run?

May have figured it out... Looks like the Race Belt was a 729/17/30 Long Case Belt and I need the 669/18/30.

you could have gotten an entire matched set, with the variator, weights, belt and clutch, all matched together, also get rid of that factory contra spring, if you want close to stock go with a blue, but get something like a Hoca spring, the factory springs are made of cheap china steel, and are very weak, and will get worse and worse, also you probably need to run a 5 or 6 gram weight for the rollers

Did some cutting on the case to make sure I don't have any heat issues in the future.
