Got the fan and it will not fit unless there's a trick to installing it. Any recommendations on a fan?

Just a FYI that Hot Rod Fan is to Flow Less air than the OE Fan that came on the Scooter. The Less air that that Fan moves drags the engine down Less so they call it "High Performance". So if ay want Less cooling over your Stock Fan thats the ticket.
I love that Glixal claims a 20% increase in performance with this Fan alone, Id like to see these Fakes prove that.

Um I completely removed my fan and it was only good for a few percent according to butdyna and stopwatch. I also had a huge overkill oil cooler to compensate for the loss of cooling If you want a fan that will improve performance and provide good cooling at low RPM get a 120mm 12v CPU muffin fan with at least 125 cfm This one is more than enough www.sidewindercomputers.com/de12tfexhisp.htmlYou can get the 30 watts it needs by swapping out for led lights And a $5.00 air scoop for when you get going and BLAM sickkkk custom mods 😈😈😈😈😎

I went on the advice from a guy at the local scooter shop. I went in to get the factory fan and told him I had ordered the Racing Variator and Racing Clutch so he told me to check out the Glixal fan. According to the Glixal website it would work, should have known better when it said 20% more performance..

A short fan is actually a really bad idea A stock fan buts up against the air shroud and prevents the air from curling over and just spinning like a torus inside the shroud. The short fan is not only pumping less air but it's also pumping the same air over and over with probably only half going to cool the motor
So the best you can expect is 25% effect with 50% less pumping loss
You can correct this by glueing a tube from the front of the short fan to the air shroud But if you're going to be doing that much work you may as well Instal an electric fan And get 100% effect with 0% pumping loss
