This did not work. Its a 50cc gy6 4 stroke chinese engine. ***I accidentally took both the chain tensioner bolts off, removing it without first undoing the 10mm bolt removing the spring. Then i took the cylinder head off. Would this be an issue? Is my chain guide broken? Did any part of it break off when I removed it? Can you identify it as being whole? I just rebuilt a 50cc 139qmb. I had to put the guide tabs in the slot in the cylinder, then the head gasket covers the slot where you put the tabs into. Then the head goes on and secures it. When i put my head on i found that the tabs sat in the grooves. It was a big relief.

You put it in perpendicular to the floor, slide it in till the holding tabs on the side are all the way in the case, turn it parallel go the floor, then pull it forward till it stops. This did not work. Its a 50cc gy6 4 stroke chinese engine. ***I accidentally took both the chain tensioner bolts off, removing it without first undoing the 10mm bolt removing the spring. There should be a hole about 1/2 inch diameter on the tubing in between the air box and carburetor. I simply placed two pieces of ziplock plastic bags about two inches square over the hole and secured it with a ziptie.
If you are deleting the air box by installing a uni style filter then you will be forced to remove the charcoal canister wont you?

Fit a gas line. Run it from gas tank petock to carbuerator. Fut a gas line to the top fitting on gas tank petock. About a few inches out guide the gas line ( or turn it) about a 45 degree angle so its now pointing to the non-exhaust side of the scooter. Your scooter should have some brackets already to hang the hose in. Use them.
Run the hose for 12 inches paralel to the scooter. Turn the hose ( or guide it ) at a 45 degree angle so its facing down or now running towards the front of the scooter and then connect it to the fuel line fitting on your carburetor. You can google images of your model and brand carbuerator if you dint know which fitting to use. There should be a brand name on your carbuerator like cv or cvk.

I just removed my pair system using that video as a guide and it neglects to tell you that you have to "put a vent on the fitting coming off the valve cover and run it to a point above the valve to release gases from valve head into the atmosphere." Do this by getting at least a 12in piece of appropriate size tubing. I used a 1/4in inner diameter tube and covered the very end with a 2in square piece of swearshirt and secured it with a zip tie. Ive been running it this way for at least two months with no problems. It vents gasses very well. Theres no need for anything fancier coming off the valve cover fitting in the very front of your engine.
****did anyone notice that in the gy6 pair system removal video he puts a black rubber cap on the valve cover fitting? That is WRONG! Could a few other members agree with me in this so the op can get this modification done hassle free?
The charcoal canister does absolutely nothing for performance. It is one piece of emissions equipment on a scooter that produces roughly 1/45 the amount of carbon footprint a car does. Sometimes people report tuning your scooter becomes easier after removing all of the pair system and plus the charcoal canister.
I recently did this to my scooter and found that its hard to figure out how to connect what to what by using google images or googling it. A member was kind enough to allow me to send h photoes from my phone and he tried to work with me. It was madness, but i now know how to hook it all up correctly. Ill briefly explain where to start by connecting a hose to a part and what fitting on the scooter it should connect to.
Lets start by running a Vacumn Line. The air that is sucked into air filter is used to create a positive pressure in the gas tank so fuel is being pushed out and fed into carbuerator. Start by identifying a small 1/4 diameter by 3/4 inch fitting in front of the carbuerator. Its on the black piece of 45 degree tubing that runs from carburator and down into engine. You want to run a piece of tubing from there to the gas tank petcock located kn the bottom of the gas tank. My petock was on the gas tank and had two fittings, one above the other. I hooked the line coming from in front of carbuerator to the bottom fitting on the petcock thus creating a vacumn line. Your scooter may have a different petcock.

Hi, i am doing bbk install and took the whole chain tensioner off instead of just the 10mm bolt and taking out spring. I am wondering if this is going to be a future issue. Also how can i put this stick back in? It is the bottom "stick"

I have a Ebay "uni style" 38mm filter coming soon and i am curious if it will bolt right up to the carb on my 50cc four stroke scoot. I have seen other riders use plumbing materials to hook the uni air filter up to the carb because the air filter was "too big" or something.
Anyone have experience with this?

Just for reference and to clear things up! Edit: today i saw some fluid, either engine oil or gear oil drip a few drops from the hose in question. I had the engine upside down while drilling out an exhaust stud for a few hours yesterday. Left side of scoot. Gy6 4stroke single side swingarm. Tire can be removed from right side of bike after taking off exhaust. Bike is 2011 gmw m1 model. Also labeled as Wolf brand in the US.

Im installing a 100cc bbk. Will a 53mm piston ring compresser work, or do i need a tool 50mm or less?

I've never seen that before. What does the other side look like ? Is it going into the CVT or under it ? Ummm, i dont really understand your question, but the clear hose is about 2 inches long and doesnt connect to anything. I dont know if it ever did.
