Hi, i am doing bbk install and took the whole chain tensioner off instead of just the 10mm bolt and taking out spring. I am wondering if this is going to be a future issue. Also how can i put this stick back in? It is the bottom "stick"

You put it in perpendicular to the floor, slide it in till the holding tabs on the side are all the way in the case, turn it parallel go the floor, then pull it forward till it stops.

Yes if you neglect to put parts back there will be problems. That protects your chain. These engines have only a couple handfuls of parts, minimalistic already so forgetting even 1 piece isn't good.

You have to play with it, moving it back and forth as you bend the front forcing the back down. If you can't get it to seat, you'll have to pull the head and cylinder to see why, there could be something in the way. It should sort of snap into place.

This did not work. Its a 50cc gy6 4 stroke chinese engine. ***I accidentally took both the chain tensioner bolts off, removing it without first undoing the 10mm bolt removing the spring. Then i took the cylinder head off. Would this be an issue? Is my chain guide broken? Did any part of it break off when I removed it? Can you identify it as being whole?

I had to put the guide tabs in the slot in the cylinder, then the head gasket covers the slot where you put the tabs into. Then the head goes on and secures it.

When i put my head on i found that the tabs sat in the grooves. It was a big relief.
