This is a pic of the cardboard and foil gasket that came with my new studs. I bought new studs because one of mine broke off and it developed a loud exhaust leak. What other gaskets should i use? ![](http://i1013.photobucket.com/albums/af253/brianepotter/97D9CBA6-2022-44AE-817C-197AC6EDE098_zpsqzvhwapo.jpg)

Many of us only use the one metal ncy type gasket on our free flow exhausts. I just recently heard that some use this gasket along with the round crush type gasket , but its usually not necessary to use both gaskets together. The metal ncy type is best.

No need to "use them all" in fact, The one you have pictured will work just fine. A bit of gasket sealant (RTV) would also do the trick.
No need for multiple seals unless you are bridging a gap for some reason.
Good Luck!!!!!!

I had trouble installing the copper gasket. I used some scotch tape to stick it to the foil gasket. I used a ciggerette lighter to melt the tape so as to not "bannana in the tail pipe" ala' Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop.
I initially used never seize on the new exhaust studs. I reinstalled them using maximum strength Red Loctite. I have experience with this product on my full suspension bicycle.
I installed the exhaust nuts with medium strength Blue Loctite.
