[replyingto=prodigit]prodigit[/replyingto] I am going for the 50cc ,because the state has a thing about motorcycle and mopeds. In fact they don't have the word scooter in their vocabulary I was lick enough to pass their written test last week and it is restricted to only 3 wheelers . If i got a 150cc then it would be classified as a motorcycle . And then I would have to go to motor cycle school 50 miles away and of course pay a fee , then I would have to pass a visual test by a DMV employee . I am just too darned old to go through all that stuff. Also the 10 cc are quite a bit cheaper, for my use. One thing I noticed is that there are at least 10 scooters all exactly the same except for a little plastic. They all have different names though. One I think look pretty good so far is called MOJO and another is Ace .Both exactly the same except the Ace has a flat front end . At least it should be easier getting parts for them.

I sold my Chinese girl and planned on living with my car, but it only took a couple of weeks to miss seeing the orange thing in the corner of the garage . I started looking last week and I am close to making up my mind to take the plunge again. It will also be Chinese and 50cc, very likely lots of plastic ,but what the heck ,at my age I don't have anything to lose I am looking at a Mojo or a Ace . The strange thing I started to notice is that the are about 10 scoots out there that are exactly the same except maybe a little bit of plastic in a different place and all have different names. Maybe the Chinese have a good idea ,it would save having to hunt for different parts . If I go ahead with this I think I will try a different color, I like Orange but yellow and white or blue and white would be OK .Who has a preference to the color ?? Attachments:

[replyingto=scootnwinn]scootnwinn[/replyingto]Hey there . You are right about the nut behind the handlebar ! I have driven a lot of miles ,but I have never felt this insecurity when I get on the scoot. I know it is just practice that is needed . I don't have a nice area of soft grass to practice on like they show you in those short movies. Any way thanks for answering the post scootwinn !

Guys- Go back over your life when you first learned to ride a scoot .Did balance give you a problem ? I have ridden many types of vehicles over my life time, but I seem to be having a problem with balance. In the army we were given some instructions on shifting gears and then told to drive . Even motorcycles weren't a problem, but today when I start out my handlebars are wiggling and I am really unsteady . I am sure age has something to do with this ,but what do I need to know to overcome this problem ? I am sure this post is funny to most of you ,but I sure could use some tips . The scoot is running well ,its is just the nut on the handlebars that seems to be the problem . A trike would have helped ,or a chauffeur or maybe seat belts .I have over 1,5 million miles driving vehicles of all types but only 9 tenths miles riding a scoot. That is not acceptable ! Dig out your bag of suggestions and put out a few tips. Thanks in advance !!!

I would like to take a minute to thank all the members of this Forum for thinking of the Veterans on this day. It took me 67 years before someone came up to me and thanked me for my service, and that was one of the proudest moments of my life! When you join the service in war time, your are not thinking about gratitude ,but just getting the job done as fast as possible . i went in as a boy and came out as a man ,and am proud of the opportunity to have the chance to learn the lessons that have helped me throughout the years . Thank you all the the good thoughts !! Crawdad Pte Canadian Army 1944 .

Regarding 3 wheel trikes > Which is the preferred type -two wheels in front or in the rear ? Is one type more practical then the other?
