That's great to hear. Don't forget to do oil changes after every 200-300km till the engine is broken in. You will see fine metal particles the first few oil changes, but that's normal. This will keep her in top running shape.

13v charging and 14v at RPMs sounds perfect. That's right where you want it.

There is usually a Phillips head screw that sits inside where the needle head sits. Unscrew that, then the needle should fall out.
And obviously the spark plug looks like you are running way to rich.

That's a really good deal. If I was in PA my bid would already be in.

First off, you are saying that you being limited. What is the top end RPMs you are about to reach?
Where did you purchase the blue "racing" CDI? Most CDIs claims performance gains are junk.

Do not ride without the fan!! These are air-cooled engines, and that fan is the source of the air. You are going to cause major problems running without it and overheat your engine.
Park it and wait for a new fan.

Cycleterminal.com is a very good source for electrical terminals. I highly recommend them. I first used them when I did my 11-pole switch, and afterwards have purchased several more times from them. If you want to do an electrical job properly, you need these terminals and a crimping tool. Amazon has a cheaper crimping tool that works perfectly.
If you do order from them I would also recommend you purchase a few extra. They are very cheap and worth having a few extra on hand.

It could be an easy fix. Maybe the clutch, maybe the variator. When you take off the CVT cover, posting a video helps diagnose the problem very easily.

Sounds like a bad bearing or CVT problem. Have you taken off the cover and looked inside?

I have been wondering the same thing.
I'm guessing the fork on the front would have to be changed. But I'm curious if it is possible.

Did you check all your wires and connections? I'm guessing you knocked something loose when buttoning her up. And don't forget to check the ground wires that attach to the valve cover.

Hmm... I think part of the problem is I am trying to do as little to this scoot as possible. Started digging into it after she died on me in an intersection. Stupid me started removing the system before noticing that there was no gas in the hose. Before continuing I changed out the petcock for a manual one and hopefully won't have that problem any more. Now since I started removing the PAIR i was committed. I'm not trying to gain horsepower, acceleration, top speed, nor make it look cooler/better. There has to be a stopping point. Otherwise you change one thing and need to change another, then another, then another, and so on. So hopefully i'm not hurting anything but decided to leave it like it is and try. Started up just fine. Had a gas leak cause the line is to big. Didn't get any further. Need to steal some small zip ties because the big one I had did nothing and still leaked. Removing the emission devices won't hurt anything. This modification will actually help your engine last longer. Recycling those dirty fumes back into your engine only gums it up with more carbon buildup. Plus it will help you make your setup more simple.
