This would be interesting. Look at what the collection of muffler and exhaust pipe tubes I put together look like. Maybe with some welding and a few brackets it could be a modded muffler lol, so silly looking. What I REALLY wanna do though is cut the muffler and cut the weird modded exhaust tube and weld them together to have a regular muffler lol.

I also suggest using " Royal Purple Max Cycle " in your scoots . this is one of the best , if not the best synthetic oil out there. On the street racing show " street outlaws " , the only oil " big cheif " uses in his garage and street racing cars is Royal Purple. I've been using it for most of my scoots life. Now and then I have to buy a cheaper oil " when I'm broke " but I usually use the RPMC . its 17.99 a quart at advance auto. The regular royal purple is around $9.00 bucks a quart and is also good to use. Of course this is just a suggestion , many already have their specific type of oil they like to use. I'm hoping to get another 20k on the scoots engine but only time will tell. I'm afraid I may have caused damage to the crank bearings and the cam bearings when my oil pump stopped working , but again only time will tell. So far there is no unusual noise coming from anywhere. yeah, no offense but i'm not paying that price for a $300 engine. that's over 4X the price i normally pay. i'm not an expert on oil but i doubt i will get 4X the mileage. wonder how much of that $17.99/qt goes into the pocket of "big chief"? people will do/say anything for the right price. proly a big reason why that oil is so expense with all the advertising and endorsements. i'm not saying it's a bad oil... just saying it's not worth the money. no offense. Wow... That's some expensive oil. I just get castrol, valvoline, or mobil1 depending on what's on sale at the time. I have to buy so much oil lately that stuff would bankrupt me. I've been doing oil changes for friends and whatnot, been through 4 5 quart jugs in the past month. If I got that stuff I would have just become more poor than I already am! lol For most people a good brand is great, I don't doubt hat the purple stuff works amazingly, but it's simply too costly for these engines when most people just ride them for a couple months and put them in storage for half or more of the year. Not to mention you can do a few oil changes on the regular stuff and still not spend as much as one bottle of the purple stuff.

Air-cooled? Or watercooled?,, watercooled head gasket went away,,, air-cooled? Broke a ring [br Its air cooled? And i assume that all my hoses are ok? And would i still be abe to drive it which i do if ring was busted? And how much is that gonna cost me? Is it something i can fix fairly easy? Thank you Back when I got into engine boring with BBK's I broke a ring during installation and decided to just use the one I had left. Sure it worked, a LOT, felt like a 2 stroke, but it backfired a lot and overheated. So in short yes you can still move with a broken or even a missing ring. White smoke though, look at it in a dark area and shine a ultra bright light through the smoke, make sure it is white and not blue because they sometimes look similar until you get a white light on it in the dark. White smoke is gasoline. Blue smoke is oil. Sometimes it can be both. It def sounds like you have a topend rebuild in your near future, or a dead scooter if you don't do the top rebuild.

Some gas stations have pumps that if you do SOS in morse code with the pump nozzle handle lever it will pump free gas and bill it to the state. Might be a myth, my friend who manages a gas station on the highway told me about it, but I'm not about to try to get free gas when I can drop pocket change to get anywhere lol. I got pulled over once for not paying for gas. I went to the gas station to gas the scoot up and bought smokes (back when I smoked cigs), handed the cashier a twenty, got my change (didn't count it!) and left.. Went to Burger King for a late night snack, and sure enough, once I left the drive-thru and pulled around behind the grocery store there, I got pulled over. Lol. I didn't think anything of it until he started asking me where I was coming from (lol). I just assumed she added the gas on to the smokes (it was late and I was the only person there). My fault. Nothing happened, they just followed me to the gas station to make sure I paid. How did gas come out if you didn't pay? lol Around here you have to pay the clerk, wait for like a minute, then start gassing up. Cards don't even work around here for small amounts, if it works it stays in hold in your account for a month, or put a hold of $100 on your account for a few weeks, which is not pleasant because you only used $2, it's like forced savings you get back a month later.

If all you are trying to do is run it for a couple minutes, and maybe test ride, can always try the oil that you would use to break in a baseball glove to soften the leather. However I do not know if that would then make the belt slippery and not want to catch when you went for a ride. The only riding I may do is to the end of my driveway. It is not registered and I do not plan to use a 3rd scoot so I'd rather store the engine if good for a spare.

I ran out of gas a few times last year because I was in no hurry to fix my gas gauge. Not a big deal unless you forget to check the tank or just plain space it off, lol. I had to push it a couple miles to a closed gas station, after taking the back way into town after work. I got about 7 cents out of the hose--- it was enough to make it across town to a gas station that was open.

There IS a german product that does wonders restoring rubber: Gummi Pflege But doing that with your belt would, in opinion, be a terrible decision. Just get a new belt from Walmart. OR - make sure you have towing insurance (cheaper to get a new belt). Honestly, I just want to see if the engine is in good working order so I can drain it and store it, I feel if I run it with a super dry belt it will break, and I do not feel like swapping my belt, finding it is a horrible engine that destroys my belt, then I have no belt, lol.

So I got a scooter recently a 3rd agility. It has a lot of problems, mostly electrical it seems the previous owner tore it apart trying to figure out something that was wrong and couldn't figure out how to put it back together. The CVT case has a huge hole in it, but the belt seems to be in good condition.
The belt is very firm still, does not give too much slack when trying to push it together in the CVT. It is just very dry looking, but all threading looks good, and the sides are sort of shiny from some use. I suppose all I really need to do is get it so it is not dry as a bone anymore. Does anyone know of something I can use, maybe just water and oil or something to restore rubber? I mean rubber is made from oil right? (noneducated guess)

www.scrappydogscooters.com/139QMB_50cc_Performance.htmlI was looking at scrappy's performance parts because I am planning a rebuild and bbk for a scoot I recently got. Look at the erlandson belt. Says "Yeah, Gates used to be made in the US, and Bando used to be made in Japan, but both are now made in China." I personally am all about MMG (modcycles) brand kevlar belt, they put up to so much abuse and they never rip even in horribly off balance variators.

I went from 1500 to 1000 rpm spring on my 100cc bbk and found yes, softer makes you climb hills faster, and improve get-go power on hills too, but increases wear on the variator when you are in a place like Boston where it is only hills. A heavier spring will save your parts, may decrease your lowend, but may also increase your top end, as I found a slight top speed decrease with the 1000.

I just got another agility, without a muffler with the exhaust tube obviously cut right near the oil drain nut. I would also think this is bad, haha. What do you guys think? I think I need some new mufflers lol

Near the end of last winter, I knew I needed gas but I also had to warm up the engine. Got half a mile there and ran out, had to push it another half mile. Now I keep a tank of gas in my basement that I change out with new gas every few weeks when I decide to use it instead of going to the station or cuz it's sunday and Shell isn't open on Sundays around here.

I will admit I am a recovering addict from meth, been sober almost 13 years. Not trying to condone it but I was not that bad, I did not use all the time, I never pawned or stole anything to get my fix. I enjoyed the feeling I got while on it, but hated the fall when it was over usually 2-3 days later. So I would be awake for those 2-3 days. I knew others that were so bad into it they would go weeks without sleep, steal, pawn do whatever they could to get it. After that amount of time they would start to have hallucinations, be extremely aggressive, and in the next minute crying. Someone on meth can be very unpredictable, I hope you never see this guy again, but if you do call 911 immediately, try to get inside and just do what you can to be safe and keep your family safe. That's exactly how he was acting. He was yelling then crying off and on, crying about how he wanted meth, how he missed the old days, how he wanted that scooter I was fixing for my friend, and yelling about how awesome it was to be on meth.
