Pretty neat, but that big, empty space in the double-cradle frame looks like it's just begging for about a 500cc vertical twin... with a clutch n' gears tranny where the scooter motor now resides... Just me...Leo in Texas 500cc V-Twin on 10" wheels!! insurance could be an issue with that setup

So my widea wants me to give her choices on what scoot to get for her next one.. a 150. She's prone to the Chinese... likes the 50cc look... so I was thinking of a peace sports tpgs801. I sold her modded TAOTAO ZUMMER.. she loved that one with all her heart, but wants something a little faster... Remember, I did all the repairs and upgrades to the Zummer so Im not intimidated by some Chinese engineering. Here's a photo of the one she's thinking about that I also like So... its a 150, it has handle covers which I really like, and has a 2 gal tank... finding a dealer that has emerged is tough but I did, waiting on them to order more. It's only 1100 at the store, which compared to pcx new is really cheap (although I was just gonna a get a used pcx off Craigslist. So i need your guys help, anyone have peace sports scooter? If so could you tell me the good and the bad about it?? It would be most appreciated. Thanks guys Side note: the one I'm gonna buy is newer and does not have the exhaust set up that the one I have a pic of has, it has a 50cc looking set up. Pps: I really do what to have a pcx squad, but my wife gets what she wants me to get her. So let me know and I'll let yall know I have driven that same scooter, the exhaust was different though, I didn't like the small tires, you can feel every imperfection on the road, it was slow too, but don't take my word about the speed, I'm used to my 61mm BBK scooter. If I ever get a scooter again, I would look for something with 16" tires.

I was "lucky" enough to be "forced" into working on my scoot myself, because no one (besides one place) would work on it. The local Honda/Yamaha dealer won't/wouldn't work on Chinese scoots. Probably one of the best things to happen to me, to be honest. I just passed 60,000km on my scoot and have done all the work myself. I never worked on an engine or a lot of anything before that. Nothing like having peace of mind knowing that everything is fine on your ride, because you did it all the right way!

Soak it with diesel and let it work for a day, then try to move it.

Do you get spark? Remove the plug, place the electrode almost touching the engine case and crank it, you should see the spark.

I have to go with coal miner, as a lumberjack you are fine if you manage to not get a tree falling on you, but as a coal miner, the moment you get inside the mine you are destroying your lungs

It should work, if tuned right, but you won't get any benefit out of it, just wasted fuel compared with the stock carb.

Did you made that run with our without the air filter on? If the filter was off, it probably is sucking too much air, get the filter on; if the filter was on, probably too much fuel, if you changed the jet, you have to trial and error with the jets and the air/fuel mixture screw to get to the right setting.

Get a cattle syringe and a fuel hose, attach the hose to the syringe and to the bleeding valve, fill the syringe with brake fluid, open the master cylinder top and the bleeding valve, squeeze the syringe gently and use a towel to absorb the excess of fluid on the master cylinder, do this until there are no more bubbles coming out of the master cylinder, and the fluid is clean. As Jerry said, reverse bleeding is so easy that it makes no sense doing it other way.

A bigger carb has to go with bigger ports, bigger valves, and bigger exhaust; otherwise you are just waisting fuel.

The wires used on this things are thinner than a hair and often disintegrate the moment you touch them, if you want to get rid of the electrical gremlins, rewire the whole thing with 12 gauge wire.
