I had to get the scoot inspected. My local Honda dealer has always been good to me, so I take the opportunity to give them a plug.

Nice post! Have a bone on the old chopper guy...
It IS good to have a reliable dealer. I'm fortunate to have MOXIE SCOOTERS here in Texas. They do their customers right. And you're not kidding about not trusting folks to stop at red-lights! EEEWWW!
Ride safe, and keep up the swell videos.

I was "lucky" enough to be "forced" into working on my scoot myself, because no one (besides one place) would work on it. The local Honda/Yamaha dealer won't/wouldn't work on Chinese scoots.
Probably one of the best things to happen to me, to be honest. I just passed 60,000km on my scoot and have done all the work myself. I never worked on an engine or a lot of anything before that.

Nothing like having peace of mind knowing that everything is fine on your ride, because you did it all the right way!

Thanks all. I will be posting another vid tonight I hope. I was sick for a couple days, so didn't get any good footage.

The body panels and a few other things are getting beat up. After 8 1/2 years and over 61,000km, I just don't think I'm going to put anymore money into it. At this point "new" just seems refreshing and even safer. Seems a lot of replacement panels are just ever so slightly different than the originals. Not sure what I'm going to do scooter wise. I want to scoot forever though. I don't think I'll be going the generic Chinese route if/when I do get another scoot. I might though because I can toy with it on the cheap side--kinda fun sometimes. The scoot will be over 50-72cc for sure. Prob the 150cc range. Maybe even a motorcycle (and scoot), who knows.

Given your history of success with Chinese scooters you might want to look up a Bintelli or Wolf brand dealer. These people have raised the bar on scooter quality and both brands carry 150cc scooters.
