So my widea wants me to give her choices on what scoot to get for her next one.. a 150. She's prone to the Chinese... likes the 50cc look... so I was thinking of a peace sports tpgs801. I sold her modded TAOTAO ZUMMER.. she loved that one with all her heart, but wants something a little faster... Remember, I did all the repairs and upgrades to the Zummer so Im not intimidated by some Chinese engineering. Here's a photo of the one she's thinking about that I also like So... its a 150, it has handle covers which I really like, and has a 2 gal tank... finding a dealer that has emerged is tough but I did, waiting on them to order more. It's only 1100 at the store, which compared to pcx new is really cheap (although I was just gonna a get a used pcx off Craigslist. So i need your guys help, anyone have peace sports scooter? If so could you tell me the good and the bad about it?? It would be most appreciated. Thanks guys Side note: the one I'm gonna buy is newer and does not have the exhaust set up that the one I have a pic of has, it has a 50cc looking set up. Pps: I really do what to have a pcx squad, but my wife gets what she wants me to get her. So let me know and I'll let yall know

IMHO... I have not heard anything good about Peace Sports. However, I now have had experience with 2 Baccio scooters - my 2008 VX 150 (stolen - replaced by a 2016 Kymco Super 8 150R), and my son's new Baccio Heat 50. It seems that the Baccios are basically Tao Tao, but supposedly built to a higher standard... Anyway, the Baccio Bro 150 - www.modcycles.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=Bro150 - might fit the bill...

So let me know and I'll let yall know I have driven that same scooter, the exhaust was different though, I didn't like the small tires, you can feel every imperfection on the road, it was slow too, but don't take my word about the speed, I'm used to my 61mm BBK scooter. If I ever get a scooter again, I would look for something with 16" tires.

Funny you should mention the Honda PCX...it may be a little more costly, but my local Honda dealer cannot keep them in stock. Every time I've been in there lately, there's been one going out. Yeah, they're just under 4 grand out the door, but they are solid. If you can find a 2013, you can mod it to go over 70 with an NCY variator and 13g rollers. The 14" wheels give you better accommodation for traversing pothole laden streets, and aftermarket mods are plentiful. Scooterworks has a number of aftermarket mods, though there are many more from outlets in Thailand or Japan.
There is the matter of the inner clutch bearing. Do yourself a favor and take off the CVT cover, remove the pulleys and grease the out of that inner ball bearing before putting a ton of miles on it. Mine started to whoosh after about 6000 miles, some have had the bearing fail sooner than that, but it's not always greased from the factory.
Here is my one year ownership recap. I have over 10,500 miles on it at present.

Found it guys!! Found two dealers that sell the baccio bro 150. Unfortunately, the first one I went to was crooked as heck! Wanted me to shell out 1850$ for it... i talked him down to 1600 cash... but I did not jump on it since I was in route to work and the shop was on the way. So I called another dealer that is a distance from me but I can make it on the pcx. I called and asked how much they would sell me for a bro 150 if I paid all out in cash.... They said 1200 is pretty standard... 12000 FRICKIN DOLLARS... i was so angry... i was about to go to the other guy and strangle him for trying to ring out the money from me... i would of understood if they offer ends it for 1600 and they were just being competitive to the guy that sells for 1800... but seriously??!? A 600 dollar difference, not including tax title and fees....
If anyone needs the 411 on a approach with caution dealer, ill let you know that Salento Scooters in hollywood Florida on US1... not cool man..
Like I even called the wholesaler to find out how much they sell them to the dealers, they sell them for 859 to 950. That's already a gold profit margin, but almost double the price in profit is just robbery.
I'll post pics if and when I get it, still have to go and trade in / test drive.
Be safe and scoot on

Cool! I didn't know you were in FL - there is a repair guy in Stuart called the "Scooter Genie" - he also is a Baccio dealer - although only set up to sell 50cc, he "can get" 150's...

Allll righty, i will post a pic of the new (awesome riding) Baccio Bro 150 that i got for my wife.
New riders pros and cons about the bike.
Pros: dual rear shocks almost work as well as the pcx, so bumps aren't killin me, dual heallights were not as bright as i thought, but having two really catches peoples attention and the high beams work great. The left hand is set up the bets way IMO with the horn on the bottom, eith the turn signal in the middle, the taotaos had been switching the horn and turn signal. The bike is.... for lack of better words, amazingly quiet i havent opened the bike all the way cause of the breakin period, but my goodness, even from a stop the bike just purrs all the way to 35 mph. The nobby tires are just great for handling and gripping the road.
Cons: the under seat compartment is a bit smaller than i expected and is exactly like a 50cc taotao compartment, just a hair bigger, but it is almost entirely water tight, the side view mirrors are pretty much a blur when you are below 30 mph cause of the vibration, gonna work on a insulator for my wife... see if i can get the buzz down. The seat rides perfect for me.. but not as comphy as my pcx... my wife thinks its a little high for her... might buy a lowered custom seat for her. Not much wind protection (but thats minor for my wife since she barely speeds past 40)
AND THE BIGGEST CON OF THEM ALL. They did not tight fit the battery on the floorboard... so every bump that i dont feel, my battery does and i can feel it on my feet bunpin around in the compartment for it... im gonna wedge something fire proof down there to just shrink the wiggle room the battery has. SUGGESTIONS???
All in all, the bike is a blast, strictly comfortable for one person, although it has the foot spots for 2 people, my wife and i drove on it together and we both agreed that if any tandem riding is to happen, it will happen on the pcx; but that aside it does have the power for 2 people easy, just looses alot of pickup.
But yeah great bike, cant wait to put led lights on the bottom and do some upkeep and regular maintenance on it. Just got a gopro as well, so ill be posting some ride vida on the pcx and on the bro, so you guys can somewhat experience the nightmarea of miami and broward county driving.
Have fun, keep scooting.
Ps, my wife got all the gear she needs now... and looks like a robocop badass, so yeha, we pretty much look like a scooter gang!!! Hahah

Very Cool! What color did you get? Black with white and red details (the name of scoot stickers, the rear springs on the shocks)
