Here is where both the fuel line and vent line connect. The fuel line is the one on the right (closest to the camera). I removed the hose from inlet of the fuel pump and sucked in from the tank. Fuel came out. Looks like there is suction problem. So I'm probably going to go ahead and just change out all the vacuum hoses, and replace the fuel pump.

The hose on the bottom right of the pic is going to the fuel pump. You'll follow the hose from the bottom right at the fuel pump, then it goes to the filter, then to the tank. That's the fuel pump on the bottom right.

Yes on the the other side of the fuel filter, is another hose that goes directly to the fuel tank. Fuel travels upward in this model for some reason. Which is why I don't understand why they didn't have an electric pump rather than a vacuum pump like this. I'll try to get a pic of tank where the hose goes into the tank when I can.

I'll check that as well. Won't be able to get back on it until Friday. I believe the fuel hoses are on the bottom (or somewhere near the bottom. I haven't removed the floor piece to get a good look at the tank, but where the hoses connect to it, it feels like it's on top, but when I blew into the hose, the CO2 came up from the gas making bubbles. So it probably does suck the fuel into the hose either way.
I had someone blow into the vacuum hose and tried to see if I could find somewhere that could be leaking air out and found nothing on the tubes on the other side of the block. I haven't tried the cup idea yet, but I do know that when I try to start it, i visually checked the fuel filter (this actually the picture of the filter above) and there was no fuel in it. Lines were completely dry as well.

Yea the fuel pump is correctly connected. But if I blow in (or suck out) air from the vacuum spout, should I get fuel flow from the tank even if turned off? Just wondering if this would be a sure fire way to determine if the fuel pump is the problem.
Yea it's a shiny new bike lol. Still in the upgrading process to turn this chinese machine into something more efficitient lol.

And it sort of did just start. The bike only has about 150km on it though. Had a similar situation happen to it when I had 34km on it. Bike shut down while in the road. Happened to be the plastic piece pinching the vacuum hose coming out of the intake manifold. I'm probably going to change all the vacuum hose while I'm at this, as I've heard that it used to be necessary.
The problem started when the bike shut off while driving on the road (if that unveils any more details).

Thanks!
How would I prime the carb? Put fuel directly into the carb and start it?
I took the fuel pump off and started blowing through the vacuum spout. Should that have started pulling fuel from the tank and out through hose that links to the carburetor? It still wasn't even pulling the fuel out of the tank.
Also, is there any kind of upgraded fuel pump I could get for this scooter?

I have a Tao Tao Paladin CY-150 that isn't getting fuel out of the gas tank. When I try to start the scooter there is not fuel even reaching the fuel filter. Here's the checks that I did:
Removed fuel cap, attempted to start. No go; No change. Removed hose from the square metal petcock that includes the vacuum hose, and a fuel line that leads to the carburetor. Blew into the fuel tank; tank bubbled as it should Blew into the vacuum hose; had flow. Removed the hose from the carburetor and blew into the petcock; No flow (which I assume is the be expected since the vacuum is needed to open up the petcock. After several attempts of starting, there is no fuel getting from the tank and into the fuel lines.
The Paladin CY-150 seems to be a little different than most GY6. From the youtube vids I watched, most GY6s have their gas tank above the carburetor, allowing gravity to flow the fuel down. This one has the fuel tank below the carburetor and fuel has to climb from the petcock to the carburetor.
Does anyone know where to go with this from here? I am unsure on what exactly pulls the fuel out of the tank and into the fuel lines. I've checked the vacuum hoses and all seems to be good there too. I've heard it could be the fuel pump, but I'm not sure if the square petcock is considered the fuel pump or whether there is a pump in the fuel tank. I took some pictures, but can't seem to figure out how to post them up on here.
Thanks for any help you guys can give!

Definitely not the battery. I double checked the spark plug because I think the other guy who was checking the plug for a spark was holding it to the frame. Good thing you said something! Anyways, we still got no spark, however he did report feeling a little shock as he was holding the rubber booting. This a clear sign of anything? I'll go through the steps you listed tomorrow and see how it goes.

Update. When I was trying to start the scooter, I noticed that the battery finally started dying. It is a brand new Duralast CTX7A-BS FP battery. So I took the battery to get checked, he put the two prongs on the positive and negative posts, got a reading of 11. , came to the conclusion that the problem was that the scooter isn't charging the battery. He said that once the battery gets to a certain voltage it would have caused the scooter to shutdown. Any ideas on why the battery isn't getting charged?

Just checked the spark plug. No spark. I noticed a nearby connector with a green and black with white stripe cords without a female connector. Most likely for an accessory I'm assuming. Where should I go next since it's not getting a spark?

I kinda forgot to mention one detail. Just before the scooter shut off, I was getting a lack of response from the throttle. I would pull the throttle and it felt delayed. I'm gonna look over the scooter in a few hours and see what I can find out.

I was riding my scooter when suddenly the scooter died. Try staring it back it, get the continuous "ree ree ree" of the starter. Pull down the throttle while trying to start it and get a "thum thum thum" sound. Checked the fuse near the battery and was still good. Nothing from the kickstart either. Any suggestions on what might be wrong? Scooter has only 34 kilometers on it.
