Yea that's what I though. Will I need to drill it out? Like drill a screw in there and then pull it? Or is there an easier way?

Here's a picture of the carb. I believe the air/fuel mixture was supposed to be on he bottom left corner. However it's just a smooth surface. Is there anywhere else the bolt could be?

Ok here is what happened when i let off the throttle when it was having problems. It was 70 degrees outside, I left of the throttle and it loses power (engine not dead) and kinda pushes me forward like an engine brake type thing? If that makes sense. After I notice the loss of power, I hit the throttle again with no change, the scooter still slows down until I come to a stop and the engine then cuts off. A few times the engine seems to start back up, other times (more commonly) it takes a few seconds of cranking and pulling the throttle to get it up. I also noticed the absence of the clicking sound that usually accompanies the kill switch when I shut off when I got to work. I'll take notice of the temperature when I leave and how she is riding.

I drove it again this morning and noticed a sort of pulsing when I was stopped and idling. Like the engine was slightly pushing forward just a little at times. But the scoot never died or seemed like it did yesterday. Temperatures were similar to last night this morning though at about 60. Will be about 73 when going to work.

It was definitely cooler outside when it was working good. Probably a good 15 degrees cooler max I would say.

I guess I'll have to wait until it does it again. Just rode it back home from work with zero issues. Although I'm going to watch my gas consumption because the gauge seemed to be reading a little less than I was expecting, but that could just be me rather than any issue with the scooter.

I want to say it sounds like Bog. It starts hesitate, then picks up, and repeats for a bit until it dies out.

Or needs a valve adjustment. Would it actually shut off though? Or would it just lose power at higher speeds if the valve adjustment was off?

So I sort have a new issue now. The scooter starts up fine and seems to do good at lower speeds. However when I hit the 40-50 speed areas, I get a feeling like it is struggling to keep up. Kinda goes into spurts the. Eventually shuts off. It starts back up, but it takes a little time (probably filling the carburetor bowl up) before it kicks on and goes for a bit longer before dying and repeating the process. My guess is a vacuum leak. I'm thinking of getting a vacuum pressure tester and seeing what I'm getting from the fuel pump. Anyone know what readings I should get or a good cheap method to investigate where a vacuum leak my be? I wouldn't think he caburetor would be dirty yet, since the scoot only has about 100 miles on it.

I poured about an ounce of fuel into the carb via the fuel vent. (The piece I mentioned earlier.) Im Not sure about what it is set at since I don't have anything to tell me my Rpm. I kinda set by ear.

The priming worked. Scooter is finally running again! Only thing is I still sometimes have to give it some throttle to get it to start. Other times it just fires right up. Any kind of adjustments I should do to the carburetor?

I took the hoses off one at a time while replacing them. Checked them all over as well and all looks good. I removed the vacuum hose from the pump to make sure that I was getting a pulse. Looked good. The fuel pump is a brand new Mikuni Fuel pump. I've got the fuel coming into the pump from the connector pointing into the pump, and fuel going out where the arrow points out of the fuel pump. The vacuum hose is connected to the golden connector in the middle of the pump. Just mentioning that to make sure it is connected properly. The only thing I can think to do at this point is prime the carburetor which will hopefully get that vacuum pump working the way it needs to. If this doesn't work I really have no idea where to go from here. I've got my battery charging as well just to cover all bases.

I'm trying to find out where I need to inject fuel in the carburetor in order to prime it. Trying to get fuel delivery from gas tank to the carb. After replacing vacuum hoses, fuel hoses, fuel filter, and fuel pump, and still not having any luck getting fuel out of the tank, I'm hoping that if I fill the carb up and the fuel lines, it'll get the pump getting fuel out of the tank. I removed the gas cap as well with no go. I believe that I put fuel into the little rubber hose on the left of the carburetor (I believe it is the fuel bowl vent?). I turned it up in this picture. I just wanted to make sure I would be putting it in correctly. Thanks!

I think I see what your saying. So I'm not removing the hose from the top of the gas tank and connecting it to an outlet on the bottom right? Because I looked at the bottom of the tank and didn't see any kind of outlet there. Basically what I'm doing in getting it to where all the fuel needs is the suctioned out of the tank, then let gravity pull fuel down towards the pump which will send it to the carb. Am I getting the right idea?
