I think your idea to mark the spot is wise, but I'd put something in white to better see it coming at night.

You took the idea right out of my head.

Couple things, rocky. 1--how much do most of those 500cc bikes you mentioned weigh? 'Cause it sounds like bike-weight is a concern for mike. 2 (and something I've always wondered)--what makes your 250cc Appy so fast? You've posted before how you'll look down and be going well into the 80s without realizing it. It can't just be the bigger wheels, although I know that matters. My dealer once blew off a pair of Vespissers' attitude towards me by telling me their Vespa might be 250cc but couldn't go as fast as my 200cc with his 16" wheels.

Nice ride. Swap out a few body panels, and it's the same as my Znen ZN150T-18, the blue scooter in my sig below with 16" wheels. Makes me wonder how big I could swap up to and still fit the engine in my frame!? Znen probably got the "idea" for the Pacifica from Kymco. (Planning an engine swap?)

Hello and welcome! Right here a IITR you'll find manuals on how to fix most anything, also since it's a clone of the Honda 150 GY6, parts and information won't be that difficult to find. Happy riding! P.S. I use the Honda manual for the CN250 scoot to work on my Chinese 250 clone engine. (the same only in 150 should work for you.) www.familygokarts.com/manuals/ace/arrow150_engine_service_manual.pdfBTW, the filter is the metal screen in the drain plug opening.

EEEWWW indeed. Bad bad pun. You know, I did look at the MP3 after slobbering all over Peejers. But at about double the price, there really was no considering of it. Plus Peej was just so dang pretty in his shimmery orangey-reddish, sitting there amongst the lineup of mostly black, grey, and dark bikes. I didn't even consider his big brother the 250 that had the factory hardsides, 'cause it was a plain dark maroon (plus quite a few $100s extra) >'Kat You would go for the pretty boy wouldn't you.

Leo, I hope the "missus" makes a fast and full recovery. And you are right, this is PRIMO riding weather, Here in Palm Springs it went from a high of 115 to a blustery and even to 57 at night. Your ride to Wally World points up the amazing fact that in addition to transportation scooter can be a time machine of sorts, taking you back as the Doobie brothers would say "To a world gone away" Who could ever forget living through such an incredible times in history I'll never forget those days and still miss them. I don't care how many computer games they have now, they can never replace watching the Beatles or the Rolling Stones on Ed Sullivan. (or Topo Geegio) "I love you Eddie"

Most of the self-styled "experts" have never owned a Chinese scoot, and are just repeating friend-of-a friend of someone's cousin-who knew a guy, who heard it from some guys sister who might have owned one.
