I have still been eyeballin this one and was wondering if anyone has actually got theirs yet? I know millsc started this thread about it and I am wanting to know...Is it worth the money...does it work...any unforeseen problems with the kit Whats the deal? If its a good one to score I would really like some feedback on this . Thank you

I have a TaoTao CY50-A, stock with 7gm sliders w/performance variator and run 40-45 WOT @7500rpm currently. I have good take-off with consistent incline speeds.

I ordered that same kit. I went with 6grams as well and it pepped up my take off, maintains inclines better and didnt lower my top speed. I'm happy with it. Good find. I went back and checked my stock weights and thought they were lighter than the 3 7gm weights I put in with the 3 5gm weights. I was right..take off is a LOT better and my top speed is still @ 43mph...versus 47mph, via my speedometer...I know its not correct. Hills/inclines are more consistant, less power drop. Great find

I am looking for somewhere that I can get a custom made tag or a pre-made for my 50cc scoot that will not cost me too much. Just looking to fill in that small area on the rear fender with something kinda cool. Anyone have a suggestion for me?

my tao had 6 gram rollers in it stock, i was surprised, had 5 gram sliders in mine when it was unmodded. That was your CY50-A 2012 model? I dont know what my CY50-A 2012 has in it yet to see which direction I need to go with the rollers/ sliders. I am stock and looking for a bit better take off and more consistency on moderate hills.

I usually carry...The "freebie tool kit" that came with the scoot, a med sized crescent wrench, 4 way screwdriver w/ 1/2" and 1/4" nut drives, leatherman type combo, spare sparkplug, zipties, flashlight, a few rags...and I have my poncho and scoot cover as well
