Link for AC or DC info www.scrappydogscooters.com/Tech_Talk_with_Mo_.html scroll down a bit I know yours is a 4T , but I replaced the CDI on my 2T it did seem to help on take off but had the same top end and RPM since the head was not fully ported . With a BBK that had the exhaust port fully open and a racing pipe I can hit 10,500 RPMs where with the 50 it maxed at 8,000 . The stock was plastic where the blue finned CDI from PFS is aluminum . Stock had a hole to mount a screw through but other did not so I used a zip tie to hold it in place . An aftermarket may not offer any gain except advanced timing curve but some have reported it did not want to start as easy and many do not have a RPM limitation . Being of better quality is enough for me to be happy since it is one less thing to fizzle . I would just do like most of us do with a size or two larger main jet and you may want lighter or heavier rollers depending on what you have and what you want . Did the red coil make any improvement ? Does it run hotter with a stronger spark ? The NGK iridium is a great way to keep it running at its best . I have just over 18k miles on mine as I changed it at the dealership before I ever rode my Echarm . I also replaced the rollers that weighed 12.2gs with 5,500 miles on em with 12g DR Pulley sliders and must say well worth the money as it had a better curve and gained 5 MPH on top end

Here in SC we have our unofficial Super Bowl , we at least the upstate area as so many Clemson and USC fans that can divide families . The Clemson vs USC game is more important here to most . I do like to watch my high school football team play against our rivals too .

I have 12g sliders in my Echarm . Heavier sliders should reduce the RPMs by 500 well 1 g heavier . I still love to walk off and leave cars when the light turns green especially when they pile up in the other lane instead of getting in line behind me LOL

I have had over 40 mopeds to motorcycles in my time and broke down and bought a TaoTao ATma 3 years ago since I had two wheel fever , limited budget , only wanted a new one , and was sick of spending over 80 a week in gas . Well it cracked the piston on day two and 6 weeks later the new piston exploded . So I knew I had to do some research to get up to date as I was used to Honda and Suzuki instead of the China stuff . Well I joined the old SD and was suggested the 50mm Air Sal kit by a member since no way did I want another " secret 63 " since two had failed on me in such a short time . I have never ever had a piston problem in any of my other toys . I took my scooter back to the shop and told him I wanted another piston kit and told him I was suggested to try the Air Sal . Well the scooter gods were smiling upon me as he just had got in two kits . I asked to inspect it before buying . Right away you can tell the much better material and craftmanship compared to China stuff . It is ceramic coated to protect from heat damage and the cylinder is aluminum . This kit is designed to reuse the stock 40m head but you can opt to get a 50mm head as well . First off it was a huge increase in power compared to the 63 cc . I already went from 8g to 5g rollers since it is hilly here and used a main jet the rest was stock . Riding it around the block since I do an easy break in on the begging and get on more in the midrange after 100 miles . Well I had just got 50 miles on it when a guy on Peace 150 tapped me on the shoulder while waiting at a redlight . He said when the light turned green he would show me what a REAL scooter would do . I accepted his challenge . I used my feet to push off to help the holeshot and I outran him to the next redlight 1/4 mile away . I told him I did not see anything can he try again . He got mad and rode off . I bought my Echarm and decided to sell my lil hot rod to a guy who had just blown up his scooter and needed one ASAP . He was so impressed from the test ride he had the cash in hand before he came to a stop . I ran into him a few months ago and only changed the oil and replaced the belt and it still runs strong . Here is link to get the Air Sal at the lowest price www.spi-parts.com/gy6-airsal-81cc-big-bore-cylinder-kit-02350150.html You may opt for the ported head with larger valves and a 24mm carb like MillSC had on lil monster here www.scrappydogscooters.com/139QMB_50cc_Performance.htmlI would use a secondary base gasket since compression will be so much with the stock head . Larry built a 8x cc with stroker crank and said it ate up variators with the additional torque from the longer stroke of a stroker crank

How slack is the tension ? On a Honda I would expect a lot more miles out of the factory belt as I am told they use Bandos .
Describe the noise . Is it the belt slipping ?

Wow you use an MJ with a 24mm carb ? If the head is not ported and has larger valves plus a performance exhaust it is too big of a carb . Do you use the spacer ? I used a MJ on my 50mm BBK with stock carb . Your not creating enough vacuum to utilize a 24mm carb . Sure a size up carb or MJ makes one run better but too big it will not perform as good . Example a buddy had a Gran Torino with a 351 Cleveland that had a 2 barrel carb . He bought and Edelbrock 4BL intake and a Holley 650 double pumper on a stock engine . If he had the heads worked , performance cam and exhaust yes it may have worked great . It made more vacuum sound that it performed . I got it to take it back and get a 600 CFM Edelebrock carb that I bolted on out of the box and it was amazingly way better for his set up . If you compare drinking with a straw vs a 1/2 inch piece of pipe you can see that bigger does not mean better all of the time Check out the head at the top of this page www.scrappydogscooters.com/139QMB_50cc_Performance.htmlYou can always go with EFI if you have the cabbage www.ecotrons.com

How about " The Legend of Billie Jean " which starts off about a Honda Elite and is a great movie . If you have not seen it I would suggest renting or streaming it . I do not want to Cliff Note the movie and give it away but a whole lot of adventures of some teens after a Honda Elite gets damaged and the owners sisters tried to get the guy whole stole and wrecked it father to pay for the damages .
Harley Davidson and The Marlboro Man . I like this movie since it has plenty of action and great storyline .
Anyone seen that movie that Tom Hanks stars in called " Larry Crowne " ?

Wow looks like wholesale prices if you bought in quantity ! Only 50 dollars to ship from China ?? Copied from their page " t present shipping fee for each motorcycle is $50, it will be included in the total amount of order in the final step of your order automatically .There will be no other expenses as long as the customers pay on our website. We are responsible for the tariff and customs clearance. We will specify customer required address. After the customer made order, we will send the goods to our shipping company within 7 working days. But the freight company will send the product after about 30 days. Then probably it needs 20-30 days to arrive. So the whole freight cycle is as long as 60-70 days. For example, you made an order in September 1st and then you will probably get goods in November 1st to 10th. Because motorcycle belongs to big items, customs clearance requirements are more stringent. Our shipping fee is very cheap. In order to save costs, our shipping companies need to coordinate arrangements; it takes a lot of time. We will add the tracking number within 40-60 days after the customer orders, please wait patiently. " Says 20 to 30 days and then it says may take up to 70 days . I have ordered stuff from China through Amazon and it does take 4 to 6 weeks on the average . I see they take Western Union which I would never use to send money outside of the USA . I have heard both good and bad reviews over PayPal dissputes that both parties were in America but have no idea about China . If you use WU you get a free helmet and goggles sounds fishy . Not having a customer service is a red flag to me .
