I have an Oliver City with the CPI 2 stroke 50cc engine. Since it is a top mount, I was wondering if a 150cc 4-stroke engine would bolt in place?

Anyone know for sure?

Measure the mounts on the 50cc across and front to back and then measure the 150s. That would be your best bet but I do not believe you can just slap in a 150 on the 50 frame. Reason I say that is because they make mounting brackets for the 50s to put in a 150.

No the engine mounts are way diff on a Minarelli than that of the Gy6 . If you can weld you may be able to do this .

I would instead get a 70cc BBK and build you a 2T screamer . Make sure to measure the wristpins as some are 10mm and some 12mm
