I have heard both good and bad on belts from Napa . Those may just be a belt like for a cars fan that just rotates instead of expanding like on a CVT . Advance and Autozone both had NGK plugs but would have to order the iridium for next day .
I have Bando belts on my scooters both from PFS

In SC I know you can apply for a lost title . I an guessing you bought it with out a title ? Did you get a bill of sale and transfer of tittle paper from the DMV . When you got to register say " I want to register my MOTORCYCLE " not scooter . Their website says the register mopeds , I went to register my 150cc scooter and the ( censored ) said " We do not register mopeds " I then used the phrase I stated above and noted it was a 150cc and then registered it . I also registered my 50cc as a " motorcycle " since I have it insured , hated getting " DUI blah blah hate from cagers " and stock it went faster than the moped speed limit .
Custom build bikes have a VIN on the frame and they install the engine and body . A tube frame for a rail buggy also has a VIN . You will have to pay property tax on it too . Register is 10 and tag is 15 , unsure on what your property tax would be but mine went from 28 to 51 this year for a 150 . I live in SC too .

Well did it used to run ? Remove the sparkplug , stick it back into the boot ( the wire ) make sure to lay the tip against the engine or frame so its grounded and hit the starter button to see if it fires . Spark will be weak since the starter does not spin as fast as the engine does when it is running . Yes all have a safety switch that requires a brake lever to be pulled in in order for the starter to work . Even back in the 80s my Honda mopeds I had to do that . If the brake light switch goes out you would have to use the other lever until you replaced the switch if it went out . Does it have compression ? Quick simple test is to push down the kickstarter by hand to get a rough idea . Harbor Freight has a compression tester with a gauge that reads in PSI for 20 dollars . I have gotten bad gas and it caused my perfectly running scooter to not start the next day after getting bad gas . I bought a manual siphon pump for 5 bucks to drain the tank and drained the bowl on the carb with the drain plug removed . Poured if gas from a trusted source and tada it was new again . I was out doing a long ride in the country and I was too far out to chance it to one of my gas sources . Here is a scooter service manual www.chinesescooterreference.com/pdf/50_150cc_gy6_shop_manual.pdf you may need Adobe Acrobat Reader of the browser plugin . Both are free www.adobe.com look on bottom right corner and watch out they try to sneak in Macafee crapware ( I hate Macafee software products ) or Google Chrome . Many FYI scooter tips scootdawg.proboards.com/thread/21878Here is a valve adjustment guide www.scooterforumonline.com/index.php/topic,1720.0.html All 4Ts will need it done at least once with some needing it out of the crate . Any auto parts store you can get a valve feeler gauge for 3 dollars . These have the tip bent so it fits in there where standard feeler gauges are flat blades . I bought the Haynes Chinese Scooter repair manual from Amazon for 6 dollars since it was used . Generally its 25 on the average new there or from one of the sponsors here

How much boost or PSI does it make ? Does it have an oil line for cooling ? Do you know any more specs on it ?

I only use premium gas . My dealer makes customers sign a paper to only use premium during the PDI . Your only getting a gallon so what if its 20 cent more . I like to go where each grade of gas has its own hose so I do not get any 87 left in the line by previous customer . I would remove and clean the spark plug tip with some carb spray if it looks oily . Make sure to get 2T oil made for scooters and motorcycles as Lawnboy oil is designed to be used at steady RPM instead of the higher RPMs a scooter can hit . It always good to see smoke at start up so you know its getting oil . Always top off the oil tank when you get gas .
I learned about Bel Ray MC 1 and full synthetic premix only oil and the iridium plugs as I already knew NGK is the only brand to use on motorcycles but I had not heard of the iridium . I had been using what ever was the cheapest since I was a teen and used my own money I made mowing yards . I noticed how my buddies motorcycle barely smoked at strt up and did not leave a com trail like I did . I also had to clean the sparkplug every 3 months . The iridium does not make it go faster but it start have better starts and it runs better too .

I removed the airbox lid on a 4T and my 2T 50 just to see how it would run . They both started and would idle but they bogged so bad I did not get out of the driveway . When my 2T was new it ran perfect . Well one night I went for a ride , all was great but the next morning it would not start . With it being almost brand new and under a warranty I called me dealer after I make sure the sparkplug wire was on and I pulled the plug to see if it was firing which it was . He told me they had a scooter that ran great but would not start just like mine and had them baffled . They drained the gas tank and bowl on the carb , refilled it with gas without ethanol and tada it started . I did this and mine was new again . Bad gas with any water in can make one run bad or not at all .
Does it have a Teflon ( rubber ) intake ? If so these dry rot and will crack causing leaks making it not run good . My Honda CR125 had the intake get bad and if I sprayed starting pray on the intake while at idle it would stall so I knew for sure it was leaking . I would replace the Teflon intake with an aluminum one like Hoca or NCY brand with carbon fiber reeds .
A 2T with a carb you will have to adjust the idle speed as the seasons change . It should idle high on a cold start and idle at a lower RPM after it warms up . With any small engine , more so a 2T and when its cold outside let that puppy warm up prior to riding or making any adjustment to the carb . Mine would always start with just a bare sip of throttle but it did not like to idle for a long time , more so after a BBK and pipe . I replaced the 40 idle jet with a 45 and bang no idle issues or have to give it any throttle to start . Also check the vacuum hoses as if the crack or leak it will run bad

I would drain out the tank and the bowl on the carb . I use Maxxima Pro 2T synthetic blend oil since its good and only ten a quart . I have also used Motul 710 full synthetic but yikes its 17 a quart . It should smoke at start up more so when then engine is cold more so in the winter . Never get Lucas 2T oil is separates . I was reading on www.epa.gov and they said gas with ethanol only has a day shelf life and can absorb water 20xs more than has with out . Pure gas can last up to a year depending on conditions . I bought a hand crank siphon pump from Harbor Freight for 5 bucks when I was out riding in the country and bought gas at a shady place instead of a trusted source . I used the watered gas to light a bon fire . yes Seafoam is great ! . Pour some in will clean out any residue and if you give your scooter a sip often it will keep it clean . Note on 2T oil look for injector safe as " premix only" is thicker . My scooter dealer bought a used Zuma with a 70cc BBK , 19mm Delorto ( may be spelled wrong ) carb and a Leo Vince HM70 pipe . It is a wheelie popper , very peppy and the LV pipe has a great sound and not so darn loud like my PM Racing pipe which sounds like a Honda CR 80 . On a 2T you just remove the exhaust and fan shrouds to get to the engine . The head has 4 nuts on studs and the cylinder slides off . I know with 500 miles there is no need as of yet since it should last a long time but just trying to help you out in case you decide to put on a BBK later . I like to use NGK BRPHIX sparkplug since it is the iridium version . Standard is ok but iridium fires better and less likely to need cleaning from oil build up . Look here to see if you get gas in your area without ethanol pure-gas.org/All small engines should be allowed a warm up time prior to riding more on a 2T and again in winter . A tuned pipe will do wonders for a 2T after upjetting the carb . Post a picture of your new toy .

The 2T version ? If you yes they burn oil so they smoke , more so at start up . When I was a young teen I used any 2t oil and some would leave a com trail . The premium oils smoke at start up on a cold engine but hardly at all when warm
