Here is their website: norcopowersports.com/index.php?route=common/home I have been looking at the Lifan LF250 v-twin cruisers online. They are new, leftover 2009 models. I remember that I had heard they were pretty good motorcycles. This place has them for $1499. But, shipping to Hawaii is $450, bringing my price to about $1950. I hadn't heard of this seller before. Anyone owned this Lifan motorcycle? Thanks, Jon in Keaau, Hawaii .....with two back to back nasty storms heading my way.

Oil light

Don't know about your SYM, but our 2008 SYM HD200 has that. It actually isn't a light. Just some material that is painted red and green. The red one shows up every so many miles/kilometers. Then you poke the end of your key into the slot directly below it, and it resets it. Our 2008 is running great and gets ridden often. I've extended my oil change intervals, because it's never cold here. Cold starts and winter starts, I believe, are when most engine wear happens. I used to change at 1000 miles, but, I'm going 1500 now. I also went from 3000 to 5000 on my car.

You are carrying the SYM line, which is, in my opinion, a premium line. We have a SYM HD200 (2008), and it just excells at everything. But, we line near Hilo Hawaii, and there are no SYM dealers here period. I have to order parts from the mainland. Oh, we do have small dealers that sell the SYM DD50, but, they won't order parts for other SYM's. I have talked to the one in Hilo about bringing in a Wold and a Symba, as I think they would sell in a heartbeat, but they have no interest. , I'd even commit to buying the first Symba or Wolf myself, if they'd do it. I even tried to get some interest in becoming a Cleveland Cycleworks dealer, as high end choppers are huge here, but again, no interest.
I still wouldn't give up our HD200. Our other scooter is a 2009 Kymco Peoiple 150. Both SYM and Kymco have two year warranty's all the time. So, whats wrong with Honda/Suzuki/Yamaha/Vespa??

As far as answering emails, if I rejected every dealer that didn't answer my emails, I'd have to reject them all. And many other types of business's also. It just seems that most just don't care about emails. It sucks, but it's the truth.

So, you are happy with your BMS Bi-Metro? I was looking at them here: www.powersportsmax.com/product_info.php/products_id/16138 I Noticed, in the photos, some of the engines say Yinxiang on them. Others say BMS. Also, you were saying your headset loosened up. Were you talking of where the front forks attach to the frame at the steering head? There is a thread on advrider.com, where a guy bought one of these and it had handling problems at speed. Turns out, on his, the Chinese production line messed up. The front wheel was out of alignment, and he found bad welds on a tube where the forks mount, and, since things wouldn't fit, he said someone had taken a large hammer and caved in the fork housing to get it together. His was the Fly Scout, so maybe it wasn't made by BMS?? Anyway, here is the thread with photos: www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=662223&highlight=Scout
