I finally installed a windshield from Scrappy today. Hopefully will help to make my cold weather riding a bit more pleasant!

Oh, she's totally adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved when she tried to jump up onto the table's bench. But question--this is like the third time you've mentioned in the forum your girlfriend being right. Hello! When are you gonna learn that the girlfriend is ALWAYS right?! Even when she isn't.... >'Kat Hahaha that sure is right, Kat. Sometimes I'm just a Sim and she has control of the mouse. :-p This little dog has some serious jumping ability. Only thing is she's generally too lazy to bother putting any of it to use. lol. For example, she can often be found dragging her hind legs behind her and crawling across the floor because she doesn't want to get up to move a foot or two from where she is. Cracks me up.

So my girlfriend convinced me months ago that we need a puppy. Well, she was right anyway. This dog is so energetic and sweet it's unreal. I got some new equipment for my action cam and I wanted to test how well it stabilized the camera, so she was the perfect test subject.

If you're into the sports bike look, this is pretty badass for a scooter. I call it a scooter because it has a CVT, but some may argue it's a motorcycle with a CVT and not a scooter at all. I love that scootercycle. I've heard that it's a pain to do valve adjustments and some of the other more involved maintenance procedures due to the location of the fuel tank but otherwise that they're solid as long as you take care of it.

I have insurance on mine but my reg ran out..jersey wants $67 now to reg a scooter,,thats as much as my truck!! Makes me mad but I am going to have to do it. Funny thing was she gave me a moped plate the first time I went there to reg it,,I told her its not a moped,,should have kept my mouth shut. But then again if a cop saw me fly by at 60mph with moped plates he might get upset..lol Oh lord. This reminds me that when I went to register mine the M.O.C had it labeled as a "mopad" which led to a 40 minute process of the ladies behind the counter trying to figure out what a "mopad" was despite me repeatedly saying it means "moPED" and it's not a "MOPED" anyway, it's a "scooter" that needs to be registered as "a motorcycle." Lol it was infuriatingly dumb.

jerseyboy - Oh yeah! I've seen that dude around YouTube. I was checking out his videos long before I found this board and started posting here to try and figure out what scoots I was going to look at. And thanks for the pic ricardoguitars, I could live with that!

I didn't have problems with the crossbar, it sits a bit tight, but a bit of patience can do wonders Depending on just how tight it sits, I might be concerned about it snapping off or breaking something else on the right bump or dip in the road. You don't happen to have a pic do you?

I know some guy who had 30K miles on his chinese scoot and all he did was replace a clutch and tires,,he used the castrol synthetic oil from day one and ran it 45-50 mph for 60 miles everyday to work and back,,he is on youtube also..he sold it still in good running shape. Oh no kidding. I hope to achieve similar results, I'd consider myself very lucky lol. I feel like there's no reason you can't reach higher mileage with these things so long as you pay attention to things that are breaking/are broken/need servicing. Neglect has gotta be the number one killer of Chinese scooters.

Haha I'm like you, I'm looking to hold off on any kind of BBK until im having problems with the stock piston and head. That really goes for a lot of the stock parts really. In just curious how long they'll go until they start to wear down. So far so good with just a changed plug and coil.

We also just decided they other day that we'll, erm, I, will be adding a TaoTao BWS 150 to the stable this spring/early summer. I'm looking forward to having two of these things to tweak and try different things on.

Hey guys, wow I haven't logged in in a minute! I definitely have tested my Odo and it seems absolutely like it's much closer to an accurate reading in Miles than Kilos. ricardoguitars - Thanks for the info on the uni. I was hesitant to go with the one from Scrappy without knowing for sure I wouldn't need to do any extra work to make it fit. That cross bar in there put a lot of doubt in my mind about that one. I'm just going to wait until I get a new carb beforehand since I don't really care to drill out mine to be able to adjust the A/F mixture. I'd rather just replace it altogether for a better quality part and that way I can do my upjetting before any gas ever enters the bowl (I'm lazy, you see).

Nice looking scoot! Congrats on the deal. Crunk Man! Where you been? How is your vlog coming along? I've been COLD. Haha. Seriously though just got all caught up in the holidays and whatnot so I haven't been around online as much. I'm still working on getting a suitable microphone setup going which is going to involve hacking my "NoPro", SJ4000 cam to give it a microphone in port. After that I'm in business! ...just in time for it to be a constant 30 degrees outside. :-p

I went to Bike Bandit as they have premium tires for the same price of a generic one in town and free shipping with orders over 100 . I showed my dealer my tires and he noticed the sticker as he buys from the same wholesaler as BB does . I paid cheaper retail price than he gets from a whole seller so he is now a BB customer too . Kudos for turning me on to Bike Bandit!
