I'm running a ncy variator ATM and I have a 102mj in a 24mm(150 carb) . The spark plug is a slight dark brown.

Hi guys I'm looking to upgrade my scooter even more. So far I have a 52mm bore kit, 50mm hoca head, 24mm carb with intake, free flow ncy exhaust, 17/49gears,performance cdi and coil. I guess my question is what to get next for more performance? Should I get a ported and polished head or stroker crank? I'm looking for more power.

OK I have the same set up on mine but I have a hoca head and 150 intake and carb. I went with the 17/49 gears and a 110 main jet. First thing I would do is up jet to a or main jet. Mine was maxing out at 45 Mph before the gear change now I run much smoother. Haven't had a good day to run it Max yet.

Well I took my 20mm Carb to work today and cleaned it throughout with an airgun. I put a stock pilot jet in it and a main in. Its like a new beast. I think its time for a gear swoop now. This what's in it now: 52mm bbk 50mm hoca head ncy 80cc can 20mm Carb w/free flow airfilter Ncy stainless steel exhaust Koso variator w/6.5g sliders Gates power belt ncy clutch sheave and clutch bell HP coil and cdi Iridium plug Performance shock I think a striker crank and hoca gear set will be on order soon.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to leave the two gaskets in it and rebuild my 20mm Carb tomorrow.

Hi guys I have a 50cc scooter with a 52mm kit in it. My question is with a 50mm head should I use two base gaskets or just one. Also I'm going to be adding a 20mm Carb. Any suggestions on jet sizes? I live at or just above sealevel on the eastcoast.
