Hi guys I'm looking to upgrade my scooter even more. So far I have a 52mm bore kit, 50mm hoca head, 24mm carb with intake, free flow ncy exhaust, 17/49gears,performance cdi and coil. I guess my question is what to get next for more performance? Should I get a ported and polished head or stroker crank? I'm looking for more power.

Stroker crank will give you more low end power nothing on top, as a matter of fact with a stroker you will loose some RPMS. So if your looking for more low end power a stroker will help that situation.
So where are you looking for a little more pop, Top or Bottom. Also with what you have what are your RPMS at WOT and what do you see your mph at top end are? Alleyoop

What variator are you running? A different ramped variator and 6.5, 7, or even 7.5g sliders may give you an extra 1-3mph. From there, your have pretty much given her all she can take. Keep in mind running long distances at top speed is not safe for any engine.
BTW- what color is your spark plug (maybe post a pic). A 90mj on an 83cc bbk might be a bit lean.

I'm running a ncy variator ATM and I have a 102mj in a 24mm(150 carb) . The spark plug is a slight dark brown.

Jerry is right about raising the variator weights . You are a little high in the rpms for a straight run . If u can lower the rpms to about 7500 and having the heavier weights in you may pick up some speed . However id only go down about .5 grams

Your RPMs are pretty much maxed out for a gy6, so if you want to increase top end, you will need to play with your weights in order to raise your speed while lowering or keeping your RPMs the same. You may want to go back to a stock clutch, since performance clutches are for jack-rabbit takeoffs, and as a result they often rob you of top end. A 1k contra spring is stiffer, requiring an extra 1k in RPMs to get the same response. Putting in a stock clutch will almost certainly give you a bit more top end, though you will definitely have to adjust your weights if you go back to a stock clutch in order to balance it all out to the response and top end you're looking for.
I'll let someone else chime in on the NCY variator, I haven't tried one (running Koso). Good to hear your spark plug is brown, coffee color is spot on!

The main thing To The high performance clutches are the springs and the pads . Also the ncy clutch assembly is adjustable . When you take the clutch apart there are two settings in which allows the pulley to open different . There is one setting that is just like a stock clutch and one that is different from stock . You can have a high performance clutch and use stock springs and with the bigger pad area on the high performance clutch it will perform better then a stock clutch with the same top end .
Jerry is right about the high performance springs that come with the high performance clutch , they are used for mainly bottom end takeoff and hill climbing , the main spring usually breaks in enough to allow the clutch pulley to open all the way so you don't loose top end .
It may also be good to try the .5 gram heavier weights . If you are able to do this and stay around 7500 rpms then u will more than likely gain some top end . Or at best if you stay at the same top end you will atleast be running at a lower rpm, which is better for the engine .
